As the most important part of lifting goods,wire rope has been widely used in all walks of life.At present,most steel wire ropes used on cranes are scrapped and replaced regularly based on a fixed time.The lack of application of real-time crane operating data to analyze,predict and replace them has caused a lot of waste of resources and economic losses.In using real-time operating data to analyze and predict the service life of a wire rope,how to quickly obtain the real-time stress at different points on the wire rope is a very important step in predicting its fatigue life.In response to the existing problems,this article starts from how to quickly obtain the real-time stress of the wire rope,and conducts the following research:(1)Through the theoretical analysis of the wire rope structure,the primary and secondary helical equations of the side wire of the wire rope are established,and the expressions of the curvature and torsion of the side wire in the strand are derived.According to different lifting mechanisms,the formula for calculating the pulling force of different rope segments during lifting and descending of the wire rope is deduced.Finally,according to the analysis of the geometric structure of the wire rope,the mechanics of the wire rope in the straight section,the upper pulley section,and the upper drum section are established model..(2)Combine the mechanical model of the wire rope in the straight section,the upper pulley section,and the upper drum section with the real-time operating data of the crane.With the help of the Visual Studio 2015 platform,a rapid calculation system for the stress of the crane wire rope is established to calculate the stress change at each point on the wire rope in real time,and to observe the operating conditions of the crane.(3)Establish a three-dimensional model of the coupling of wire rope,wire rope and pulley,and set material properties,boundary conditions and load conditions in ABAQUS.Perform finite element analysis on the coupled model of wire rope,wire rope and pulley,and compare the finite element analysis results with the second The calculation results of the mechanical model are effectively compared and verified.(4)Use the fatigue life corresponding to the most dangerous steel wire in the wire rope to estimate the fatigue life of the entire wire rope,use different fatigue life methods to establish the technical route of the fatigue life estimation of the wire rope in different operation processes,and take into account other factors that affect the damage of the wire rope In summary,some measures to improve the service life of the steel wire rope are proposed for the steel wire rope mainly due to fatigue damage.
