This topic is the Science and technology research program funded by ChongqingMunicipal of China,and the contact number is CSTC,2007AC3015。Steel wire isolator is the elastic elements or components that has virbarationisolated function in the use of steel wire,It is first successfully created by the USAgovernment in the70s.on one hand, the wire rope isolator has softening nonlineardamping characteristics, as well as the hysteresis effect, it has great influences on thewhole system’s dynamic characteristics, on the other hand, its Outstandingcharacteristics which is obviously distinct from other nonlinear materials,such as strongbearing ability, wide range of working temperature, corrosion resistance and so on,so the use of steel wire isolator is becoming more and more extensive, greatly appliedin aerospace, automotive, airborne, shipborne electronic, mechanical equipmentand instrument vibration isolation buffer、 all kinds of sophisticated electronicequipment、instrumentation, computer and communications equipment vibrationisolation buffer、 key infrastructure and buildings in seismic and vibration engineeringmachinery vibration, seismic and buffer.Wire rope isolator performance differently with different steel wire and strandtwisting structure and the characteristic of the vibration isolator is directly affected bythe clamping structure, when the wires are fixed and forced by the other object, therope force and friction inside will differ because of the different deformation of the wireand the strand, eventually the macroeconomic stiffness and damping characteristicsperformed by the wire-rope vibration isolator are influenced, however, the tensileforce is very complex, both theoretical analysis and numerical simulation are carriedout under a large number of assumptions, so from a wire rope structure to analyze theperformance of isolator is very complicated, at the same time, through macroscopicexperimental study to analyze the influences resulted by wire rope vibration isolator’sparameters is the mainly used method.Over the past ten years, many scholars began to use the differential geometrymethod to establish the model of steel wire rope and got its spatial curve equation, andby using finite element method to study the structure of wire rope and wire ropetwisting process on stress deformation effects, but the study is mainly aimed at straightline situation. In order to forward design the wire rope isolator,especially found out the directlyinfluences of structural parameters to the vibration isolator’s performance, consideringthe vibrator’s engineering installation and for the good of convenient installation andmaintenance, the wire rope circle is created, and it is taken as a part of the isolator aswell as fully studied, the main contents are as follows:①First,after reading a great mount of books and journals,the present researchsituation of the wire rope isolator is introducted, secondly,the wire rope isolator’sstructure and its damping theory were analyzed by the applied situation in the nowadaysmarket, especially,its shortcomings are summarized,and the wire rope isolatorstiffness mathematical model are introduced;②The design of new type wire rope isolator and the machining fixture’s designand manufracturing is finished, improved the wire rope isolator’s structure, andredesigned the clamping structure,and finally applied for a patent of invention;③Wire rope circle space differential geometry study: in order to further study ofwire rope vibration isolator vibration isolating mechanism, using geometricalknowledge to model the spatial mathematical modle of the wire rope vibration isolator’svibration isolating element wire rope circle, and using Matlab to get the center line ofspace curve’s mathematical expressions, accomplished in Pro/E wire rope loopmodeling;④The test with different structural parameters of the new type wire rope isolator isconducted, and the displacement real-time curve signals in different incentive loadingforce were collected and recorded;⑤With the use of MATLAB software, the signals were got and the analysis,filtering and processing wered conducted, after all this, its change rules werestudied, the corresponding hysteresis curves were obtained;⑥And according to the obtained hysteresis curves, The influences of differentexcitation parameters and various wire rope isolator structure parameters to the stiffnessand damping of vibration isolators were explored;...
