With the speeding up of the process of economic globalization,more and more Chinese contractors of "going out",the international foreign contracting engineering company of the business volume and quality steadily improve,it also to our country international engineering company of international engineering project management to improve the requirements,in the increasingly fierce competition in the era of thin margins,improve management is the direction of international engineering companies should try to improve,and the international project management is particularly important in ascension for Chinese-foreigners employees conflict management.Therefore,it is of great significance to make an in-depth study on the conflict between Chinese and foreign employees in the localized management of international engineering contracting companies.This paper use case study method,based on the international engineering company localization Chinese-foreigners staff conflict management research topics,selected the Laos Dong Sa Hong six real events of hydropower project,through to the relevant parties of the interview and documents review and the author’s experience,objectively describes the six full details of events,through to the understanding of the system theory and dual attention model events analysis framework,analyzes the cause of the incident,process and Chinese-foreigners staff conflict resolution strategy.The research results show that the influence for the foreign employees,it is difficult to in a short time with effective solutions,when Chinese companies outside the Chinese staff and workers to culture-cognitive conflict between,most Chinese companies to take is "concession strategy",namely active compromise,eliminate the mood,concentrate the power of the team;In the face of outstanding conflicts between Chinese and foreign employees,Chinese companies can improve their understanding of local language,culture,religious customs and daily habits through active training of Chinese employees,which is conducive to reducing the occurrence of cultural and cognitive conflicts between Chinese and foreign employees.When the customs of foreign employees cause the project management of Chinese companies in essence,the labor ratio can be set according to the actual situation in the localized operation top-level design,and the labor ratio can be inclined to the adjustable party(such as Vietnamese employees or Cambodian employees)as far as possible to ensure the normal operation of the project of Chinese companies;By introducing foreign managers,foreign employees can improve their understanding,adaptation and acceptance of Chinese corporate culture,project culture and project management mode,which is conducive to reducing the occurrence of conflicts between Chinese and foreign employees.These findings are of practical significance for the improvement of the conflict management level of overseas Chinese and foreign employees of international engineering contracting companies and solve the practical problems of localized operation.Since the findings of this paper are derived from six case studies of an international project,these inferences have yet to be empirically tested through a great deal of practice.
