Research On The Inner Court In Middle Part Of The Mukden Palace

Mukden Palace is one of the only two imprial palaces constructed in Ming and Qing Dynasties.It is also the only original imperial palace built by the Manchus.From the perspective of architecture,the study of the Mukden Palace is necessary for understanding its original style and changes.At the same time,it is also an indispensable link to understand the architectural changes of the Beijing Imperial Palace since Qing Dynasty.The study of the Mukden Palace has important reference values for the comprehending of the collision and integration of multi-national civilizations in the Ming and Qing dynasties.The Inner Court of Mukden Palace are the building complex in the Middle Part.The Inner Court are used as bedchambers by emperor Hong Taiji and his imperial concubines in the early Qing Dynasty.In this thesis,the archives and related style ray image interpretation were seen as the research basis.The high level existing researches of the clearance civilization and Mukden Palace were seen as theoretical foundation.The methods of measuring,drawing and making models were used as technical support.The thinking and feeling of background of architectural era were seen as emotional attachment.In this thesis,the construction background,group characteristics,landscape change and existing building condition of the middle bedroom in Mukden Palace were combed,descripted and analyzed synthetically.The main important findings are as follows.During the reign of emperor Taizong of the Qing Dynasty,the ritual system was just set up,and the functions of the imperial harem and imperial court were clearly divided.Qingning Palace as the emperor’s bedroom,ancestral hall and banquet hall,etc.,was the core space of the Taizong family in the Qing Dynasty.According to position,the Phoenix Building was used as the important "guard" of the bedroom-During Qianlong period,the function of Phoenix Building changed.The stair of Phoenix Building moved from inside to be under the eaves of outer corridor-Holy portrait,jade ultimatum,"records" and other holy things of the first emperor were preserved in it-During the Daoguang period,the Qingning Palace was rebuilt and the outer corridor of the Phoenix Building was renovatedDuring the Russo-Japanese War,the Yongfu Palace,Guanju Palace and Dong Attached Palace were destroyed by artillery fire.In conclusion,the overall layout of the bedroom buildings in Shenyang Imperial Palace is a concrete manifestation of Manchu early life and Confucian civilization.The tower,sauron pole,pocket room,Swastika Kang,cross-sea chimney and unique residential layout fully embody the unique life of Manchu and the sacrifice culture.The animal heads on the top of Pillars and the kissing beast of proof exhibit the abundant totem culture of Manchu.Although the etiquette system of bedroom buildings in Shenyang Imperial Palace is not as complete as that of the bedroom buildings in the Forbidden City in Beijing.The bedroom buildings in Shenyang Imperial Palace is composed by middle a×is,the "dragon palace and phoenix pavilion" are built from soup to nuts,and the buildings are decorated by the "colored tiles and colored glazes" which only can be enjoyed by the emperors.All of these present the original Han CultureSanskrit smallpox,Fuerdouke,etc.,reflect the Mongolian and Tibetan buddhist culture.Therefore,the building complex as the carrier of reality truly presents the fusion process of civilization and architecture under the unification of China.
