The hydraulic frame structure plays an important role in opening and closing gates,discharging floods,and ensuring the safe operation of large-scale water conservancy and hydropower major projects such as dams and sluices.The requirements for the seismic performance of hydraulic frame structures in the current code are limited to dynamic analysis.It is impossible to know the damage condition of the structure under rare earthquakes,and it is impossible to determine whether the structure can operate normally after the earthquake.In response to this problem,this paper conducts preliminary research through the following three tasks:(1)The fiber concrete structure model proposed by the research team of Tsinghua University is used to establish a finite element model,and the dynamic time history method is used to calculate the dynamic response of the structure,and the dynamic response of the hydraulic frame structure under rare earthquakes is analyzed.The results show that under rare earthquakes,the hydraulic frame structure is the most vulnerable part of the beam-column joints and the connection between the column and the foundation;the vertical deformation of the girder where the hoist is located exceeds the maximum limit allowed by the code,resulting in the opening and closing The machine cannot work normally,which affects the safe operation of the project.(2)With reference to the seismic toughness evaluation method of building structures,the seismic toughness evaluation and analysis of hydraulic frame structures are carried out from three aspects: structure repair cost,structure repair time,and personnel damage.The result of the analysis is that the seismic toughness of the structure is determined to be Grade ☆,which is poor in toughness.(3)According to the analysis results,the design of the frame structure hoist girder was improved,the beam system layout was optimized,and the dynamic response analysis of the structure under rare earthquakes was carried out again.The analysis results show that by improving the layout of the hoist beam system,the problem of excessive vertical deformation of the beam where the gate hoist is located under rare earthquakes can be solved.Based on the above work,this paper conducts a preliminary analysis on the seismic performance and toughness evaluation of hydraulic frame structure,and solves the problem of excessive deformation of the hoist beam by optimizing the beam system layout.However,due to the particularity of the hydraulic frame structure and the limitations of the finite element analysis,there are still many imperfections in the toughness evaluation and analysis of the hydraulic frame structure in this paper,and further research is needed.
