With the development of economic,there has been more and more social problems,such as accelerated urbanization,serious traffic congestion,worsening environmental damage,air pollution,energy crisis and so on.These problems have attracted the attention of various countries,the traditional fuel vehicles have been failed to meet the relivant requirements of human sustainable development,the research and development of new energy vehicles began to attract attention.The wide application of new energy vehicles will play a positive role in optimizing the energy consumption structure,alleviating energy imports and reducing environmental pollution.As one of the main links in automobile manufacturing,body styling design has gradually attracted people’s attention.Because the driving mode of new energy vehicles is obviously different from conventional models,it also has a unique design style and characteristics.Due to the limitation of technology and use mode,the modeling of electric vehicles still needs traditional fuel vehicles at the present stage.However,due to the different driving mode and user positioning,electric vehicles should have unique modeling language.Currently,there are two major problems with the existing mass production vehicles in the market.One is that most domestic electric vehicles completely follow the traditional automobile shape without innovative body design.Secondly,some car companies devote themselves to creating a new visual image of electric vehicles,and lose the existing brand genes,which makes the shape of electric vehicles chaotic and seriously affect the brand image.The general process of automobile shape design based on shape grammar can be well applied to the experimental brand design of electric vehicles,which has an important guiding significance for the continuity and systematic design of the brand.Based on the theory of shape grammar,this paper first analyzes the related factors affecting electric automobile modeling design,and the characteristics of the electric car parts of the modelling characteristic is analyzed,the space of the electric car model into 2d space of front,side and rear,with the most can reflect the electric car modelling characteristics of the front face for the analysis of the key,will face before modelling with other morphological image as the research object,from the perspective of automobile products,shape grammar theory was used to extract the face shape elements and rules,and how to use these rules to create new forms.Finally,the shape grammar is used to guide the design practice of Xinbaojun’s electric vehicle.The main research methods used in this paper include literature analysis,induction,case analysis,etc.Finally,the conclusion is drawn that shape grammar theory can be used to guide the innovation of shape design and brand continuation of electric vehicles. |
