Methods Of Electronic Layout Control To Ensure The Information Integrity At Various Stages Of The Modern Aircraft Life Cycle | | Posted on:2021-09-03 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Institution:University | Candidate:Ilia Konstantinov | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2492306503981579 | Subject:Aeronautical engineering | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | One of the most important criteria in the production of modern aircraft is the length of the production cycle(lead time).This indicator largely determines the commercial product success.There are many methodologies for reducing production time,however,all of them are representable through basic principles and are highly unique in specific industries.In the framework of this work,issues of ensuring electronic layout and configuration integrity at various life cycle stages of a modern aircraft are considered.An in-depth analysis of configuration integrity violation cases with the reason’s identification and consequences of such cases.An analysis of the aircraft design process revealed a number of shortcomings in existing approaches.At the design stage of the components,various CAD systems are used,where the calculation is carried out for nominal part sizes.A serious problem is the designation of tolerances on the dimensions and other geometric parameters of parts.The difficulty in choosing the permissible correct deviations increases when a completely new product is being designed.In the framework of this research,recommendations are given on how to coordinate a large number of parts into dimensional chains and assign consistent tolerances on the component dimensions.Research started from the critical assembly of the aircraft fuselage power structure,after optimization by Siemens Team Center Variation analysis program,serious violations were found in the designation of permissible deviations of structural elements,leading integrity loss of the electronic layout.A model for eliminating contradictions in deviations has been created.One of the most important research questions is the issue of reducing the duration of the production cycle through optimization and control of the electronic layout and product configuration.To solve this issue,a simulation model of the product assembly process has been developed,taking into account various statistical laws of random distribution and various phases of assembly of the aircraft.In this work was created according with AHP and TOPSIS methodologies model of aircraft choosing for aviation companies which consider different criteria’s and time delivery of aircraft to customer also included in criteria list.Using modern approaches for setting product dimensional chains,using electronic layout optimization-a list of recommendations for the product design process has been developed.A methodology has been compiled to save the integrity of the digital layout at the various aircraft design stages.Was created simulating model which describe all assembly stages.This model shows that ignoring variational analysis at the design stage can lead significant complications in the organization of the aircraft assembly process and loss of configuration integrity.Using the developed algorithms in software environments of system dynamics and simulation,it was shown that an incorrect process of designing aircraft components can increase the duration of the aircraft production cycle by several times.Such product lead time increasing puts the product in an absolutely non-competitive position in the market.In case of importance lead time factor for choosing aircraft,company was created model which shows that delivery time to customer has a extremely high importance. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Digital mock-up, electronic layout, product duration time, variation analysis, lead time, configuration integrity | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
