The off-road vehicles passability is one of the important technical indexes for evaluating the performance of off-road vehicles.With the rapid development of virtual prototyping technology,more and more automobile companies adopt this technology as a pre-development tool,which shortens the development cycle of automobiles and reduces the cost.Firstly,according to the parameters of a certain off-road vehicle,subsystem models including steering system,front and rear suspension,driving axle,tire,engine and frame were established by using Adams/Car modeling software,and then a complete vehicle simulation dynamic model was constructed.Secondly,the simulation and analysis system of off-road vehicle’s passability was developed based on C# and Adams/Car software.Through this system,the simulation and analysis of off-road vehicle’s passability through pit ground,triangle ground and convex ground can be realized,and the simulation results are used to evaluating the off-road vehicle’s passability.Then,the simulation model of the off-road vehicle’s passability was established by using the developed simulation analysis system.According to the national standards,the passability of the pit,triangle and convex ground were simulated,and the index parameter curve and the simulation trajectory of the off-road vehicle’s passability were obtained.The simulation results were analyzed,which are in good agreement with the actual test results,and verified the reliability and authenticity of the software system.At the same time,during the test process,the system could run normally and meet the design requirements,which can provide simulation test reference for the design of off-road vehicle passability.Finally,the system was used to analyze the influence conditions of off-road vehicle passability,and the simulation curves under various working conditions were analyzed theoretically.The results showed that the system can simulate the process of off-road vehicle traveling through the designed terrain very well. |
