When the vehicle travels through the atmosphere with high speed,a high-temperature plasma sheath will come into being.As the dissociation and ionization reactions of the air molecules around the capsule,the existence of high-temperature plasma blocked the communication between the aircraft and the outside world,which is called“blackout”problem,however,this problem has never really been solved.With the great development of terahertz wave sources in this century,terahertz technology has been developed in an unprecedented way,and terahertz is known as"one of the ten technologies that will change the future".And make it possible for terahertz radar to combat plasma stealth technology.The propagation characteristics of terahertz wave in plasma sheath are studied based on studying the"blackout"problem and terahertz anti-plasma stealth technology.Previous studies are mainly based on the interaction between terahertz wave and cold plasma.The interaction between terahertz wave and high temperature plasma is mainly studied based on the existing literature in this paper.Three methods are used to study the transmission characteristics of terahertz wave in high temperature magnetized plasma,respectively.The transmissivity and absorptivity of terahertz wave in uniformly magnetized high temperature plasma are analyzed by analytical method,the attenuation characteristics of terahertz wave in uniformly magnetized high temperature plasma are analyzed by Wentzel–Kramers–Brillouin method,and the transmission characteristics of terahertz wave in uniformly magnetized high temperature plasma are analyzed by the FDTD method of shift operator.The effects of external magnetic field intensity B and plasma parameters,including electron temperature Te,electron density Ne,collision frequency Ven and plasma layer thickness d,on the propagation characteristics of terahertz wave in plasma are analyzed by using the above three methods.Some phenomena have been found and analyzed.It is found that under the action of external magnetic field,The transmissivity valley will move towards the high frequency of the incident wave.According to the analysis of the simulation results,the right-handed polarized wave will have cyclotron resonance with the electron.Plasma parameters have a corresponding influence on the transmission characteristics of terahertz wave in the plasma,and it is worth noting that the influence of electron temperature is not obvious until the research finds that Te≥10keV.The collision frequency is easy to resonate with other frequencies such as incident wave frequency,so it has a great influence on terahertz wave propagation in the plasma.These results maybe provide a significative theoretical basis to a certain extent,for‘blackout’communication.
