Research On Wuhan’s University Old Campus Renewal Strategy Based On Ecological Concept

The deteriorating global climate and the high energy-consumption construction and development model have caused mankind to face a severe environmental and energy crisis.Protecting the environment and saving resources have become the focus of attention in the world today.China’s economy is growing rapidly and the process of urbanization is constantly accelerating.The transition from traditional high energy consumption to environmental protection and high efficiency has become an inevitable requirement for China’s construction and development.As a gathering place for education,research,and innovation,colleges and universities are important test places for solving environmental problems and promoting the sustainable development of society.There are many universities in Wuhan.Compared with the new campus construction in full swing,the renewal speed of the old campus is relatively slow and the development is relatively stagnant.There are many problems that need to be solved urgently.This paper takes the ecological idea as the guiding ideology,summarizes the research results of the ecological idea,summarizes the existing problems and needs of the old campus in Wuhan by investigating and analyzing the current situation of the old campus in Wuhan,and proposes an old campus renewal strategy based on the ecological idea.Provide effective suggestions for the future renewal and development of the old campus of Wuhan universities.The article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which clarifies the research background,research purpose and significance of the old school renewal strategy under the ecological concept.By combing the research status of the ecological campus and campus renewal at home and abroad,this article provides the article.The theoretical basis confirms that the topic selection of this article has research value.The second chapter sorts out the concepts of ecological ideas,old campuses,and updates,clarifies the research scope of this article,and determines the definitions of related concepts.At the same time,it introduces the concepts of ecological cities and green campuses extended from the ecological ideas,and evaluates the green campus The enlightenment for the renewal of the old campus is summarized in the standards and cases,providing a theoretical basis for this article.The third chapter is the main chapter of this article.It investigates and analyzes the current situation of the old campuses of universities and colleges in Wuhan.Firstly,it learns about the cities and universities in Wuhan through the literature,and surveys the old campuses of all universities in Wuhan.Four representative colleges and universities have conducted field visits and questionnaire surveys based on literature surveys to obtain preliminary survey results.The survey results are summarized from four aspects: regional climate,road traffic conditions,green space,and building use.Finally,it summarizes the problems that are common in the old campus and urgently need to be resolved.The fourth chapter aims at the problems summarized in the third chapter,and proposes four strategies based on the ecological concept: building a sponge campus,micro-renewal of traffic diversion,landscape construction of public space,and renovation and reconstruction of existing buildings.The sixth chapter summarizes the full text and looks forward to future research.
