Study On The Design Of Public Exhibition Space Based On Environmental Psychology Theory

The progress brought about by the development of the times has caused great changes in the public’s life from material to spiritual levels,and the public has gradually begun to pay attention to their own inner needs.Along with this progress,changes in the public’s lifestyle have also begun to emerge: the prosperous network communication makes the public more willing to spend a “solitary” time in virtual space,the communication between the public and the public and the space environment.Become unfamiliar.At the same time,technological changes and the emergence of new concepts have limited the traditional public exhibition space to meet the needs of the public.The public has begun to pay attention to the various experiences in the space to enrich the "visiting" process.This requires the public display space to make certain adjustments in response to these new phenomena,which conforms to the development of the times and meets the needs of users.This article attempts to use the analysis method of environmental psychology to split the design elements of public display space and divide the psychological needs of public display space into the construction of environmental cognition,the construction of environmental security and the construction of environmental comfort.Part of this is supported by the literature and case studies of public exhibition spaces at home and abroad,as well as the research on the importance of various levels of audiences to design elements based on environmental psychology.Finally,the design elements based on the theory of environmental psychology are combined with the design of the public exhibition space to summarize a complete design process: first determine the design theme and positioning according to the preliminary planning;then analyze and construct environmental awareness in the design execution stage Relevant design content includes the organization of spatial functions and levels,narrative and expression methods,and the creation of environmental atmosphere;as well as analysis of the design content related to environmental security and comfort,namely the application of ergonomics and scales,the final integration process forms a complete design.
