Indoor temperature is closely related to human comfort and health. At present, exploring the impact of temperature on human thermal comfort has become a hot spot for scholars in many disciplines at home and abroad. The thermal environment of the learning place not only allows students to achieve a state of psychological pleasure and sensory comfort, but also allows them to maintain a state of high-efficiency learning. Therefore, when exploring the thermal comfort of the students’ human body, the factor of learning efficiency must be considered. At present, many indoor parameter designs are based on the physical indicators of adult males, and often ignore the differences in physical characteristics and mental states due to age and gender. It is worthwhile to consider and study the influence of indoor thermal environment on the thermal comfort of men and women.Based on the above problems and current situation, this article explores the influence of temperature on the thermal comfort and learning efficiency of different genders through theoretical analysis and experiments.First of all, this article sorts out the relevant literature and summarizes the relevant theories of human thermal comfort and learning efficiency evaluation.Secondly, this study selected 9 boys and 9 girls as the research objects.Five working conditions of 18,20,22,24,and 26 were set in the artificial climate laboratory.Participants conducted a subjective thermal perception questionnaire, physiological parameter test, and learning efficiency test.In order to test the reliability of the questionnaire, the questionnaire was analyzed for reliability, and finally the data obtained was analyzed. This article has formed the following conclusions:(1)Under the same conditions, there are differences in the thermal sensation of boys and girls. The thermal neutral temperature and thermal comfort temperature range of boys are lower than that of females. In addition, the distribution of thermal comfort voting results and thermal sensation voting results are different, and the working conditions of non-thermal neutral temperature can also make the subjects feel comfortable;(2)There is a significant difference in the average heart rate between the boys group and the girls group. With temperature changes, the heart rate and diastolic blood pressure of male and female students do not change significantly, but the degree to which the systolic blood pressure of students of different genders is affected by temperature is different;(3)This study also found that boys maintain better concentration and perception at a lower temperature than girls;boys’ short-term memory performs better in colder environments, while girls perform better in colder and less comfortable environments;in terms of logical reasoning, boys And girls are good at 22-24;(4)After the test data is standardized, the function equation of the learning efficiency of boys and girls with temperature between 18 and 26 is obtained.Studies have found that boys’ temperature requirements for comfort and learning efficiency are lower than girls. It was also found that boys had a higher learning efficiency in an environment slightly lower than the thermal neutral temperature, while girls had higher learning efficiency in an environment slightly higher than the thermal neutral temperature. Therefore, the different needs of boys and girls should be taken into consideration when studying the actual indoor temperature of the environment.
