Research On The Protection And Inheritance Of Stone Craftsmanship Of Tibetan Diaofang Heritage In Aba Prefecture

The Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture has unique climatic conditions,natural environment,geological conditions and humanistic environment.Under this background,a unique architectural form-Diao Fang has been created.The construction of Diao Fang is inseparable from the support of stonework skills,and Aba Prefecture,as the main distribution place of Diao Fang,is also a gathering place for stonework skills.The Diao Fang can stand for thousands of years without falling,which shows that stone craftsmanship has good regional adaptability and scientific connotation.However,with the development of economy,society and technology,traditional stone craftsmanship is also facing unprecedented challenges.The continuous renewal of ethnic architecture,the application of new building materials,and modern masonry methods all affect the inheritance and development of stone craftsmanship.Therefore,the construction methods of traditional stone craftsmanship are recorded,and their deep scientific connotations are explored for future new construction or construction.It is necessary to provide a basis for repairing stone buildings.This thesis takes the stone craftsmanship of the Tibetan Diaofang Heritage in Aba Prefecture as the main research object.Through field research,interviews and surveying and mapping of the representative Diaofang buildings in the area,combined with the relevant theoretical knowledge of architecture,split the stone craftsmanship of the Diaofang heritage into two parts for in-depth research,that is,to record and study the technical part and the artistic part of the stone craftsmanship,it systematically sorts out the process of stone work,the performance of stone work skills,and the artistic expression methods of stone work skills.At the same time,the strategy of protection and inheritance was put forward according to the problems it faced.The article first analyzes and expounds the value of stone craftsmanship of Tibetan Diao Fang in Aba Prefecture in the context of rural revitalization and traditional Chinese architectural construction techniques.At the same time,it analyzes the background of stone work from the development history and environment of stone work,showing that the unique geographical location and natural environment have created unique Tibetan stone work;It also analyzes the opportunities and challenges it faces in a modern society,and summarizes the problems faced by the Tibetan Diao Fang stone craftsmanship in the contemporary environment and its own difficulties in protection and inheritance.Next,the article sorted out the research data,under the guidance of architecture-related knowledge,based on the research content and results of the skills of Tibetan Diao Fang in Aba Prefecture,first of all,at the technical composition level of stonework skills,classified the materials and tools which they needed,the two types of construction methods of stonework skills are sorted and recorded,and the general construction process of stonework skills is recorded in detail.The nine key structural characteristics and two key construction parts in the process of technical construction are described and recorded in detail;secondly,at the level of artistic expression,it summarized the different expression methods and expression textures of art in stone craftsmanship;Then,from the perspective of the technical performance of stone craftsmanship,the scientific principles behind it are analyzed.Through the above three levels,it systematically summarized and sorted out the construction process and methods of the Tibetan Diaofang heritage stone craftsmanship in Aba Prefecture.At the end of the article,starting from the protection and inheritance of stone craftsmanship,the strategy of protecting and inheriting the stone craftsmanship of Tibetan Diaofang heritage in Aba Prefecture is proposed.Guided by the principles of the protection of traditional construction techniques,the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage,and the construction of traditional skills databases,the article proposes including the definition of protection objects,the recording and documentation of stone crafting skills,clarifying the list of construction skills and crafts,and formulating construction skills protection standards as well as the protection of its heirs and other strategies,and describing the application of traditional stone craftsmanship in modern architecture,This thesis aims to protect and promote the stone craftsmanship of the Tibetan Diaofang heritage in Aba Prefecture.On the one hand,it provides support for the recording and protection of traditional construction techniques,and on the other hand,it provides certain research ideas for other similar excellent traditional construction techniques in China.
