The mileage of Expressway in Fujian Province is increasing year by year,and two typical pavement structures are formed: semi-rigid base asphalt pavement structure and new combined base asphalt pavement structure.In order to fully understand the use status of the two typical pavement structures,to have a deeper understanding of the two typical pavement structures,and to prepare for the prevention and maintenance,this paper carries out a comparative study on the service performance of the two typical pavement structures based on the Fuquan expressway which has been open to traffic for 8 years.In this paper,the climate,traffic volume and maintenance history of two kinds of typical pavement structures are investigated firstly.The research shows that the two kinds of typical pavement structures are greatly affected by high temperature and rainy weather,the traffic volume is at a high level,and the cumulative equivalent axle load action times are still within the design scope.The pavement maintenance over the years mainly deals with ruts and cracks.The two typical pavement structures The main disease types are ruts and cracks.Secondly,the rutting,damage,flatness and anti sliding indexes of the two typical pavement structures are tested,and combined with the test data and development trend of the pavement over the years,it is determined that the overall performance of the pavement is still at a good level at this stage,and the types of pavement diseases are mainly rutting and cracks,and the two kinds of diseases in some sections are relatively serious,and according to the main diseases The weight coefficient of each performance index of pavement is adjusted according to the actual pavement condition,and the weight coefficient of evaluation index which is more consistent with the typical pavement structure of Fujian Province is established.Then,the high temperature performance of two typical pavement structures is evaluated and predicted.According to the test data of pavement performance and the field investigation of relying on Expressway,the aging of asphalt and the damage of aggregate are evaluated.Taking cores from rutting sections of two typical pavement structures and evaluating the high-temperature performance of pavement materials in combination with indoor tests,it is found that the high stability performance is better.Mmls3 accelerated load test,dynamic modulus test and dynamic creep test are suitable for evaluating the high-temperature performance of typical pavement structures in Fujian Province.Based on the permanent deformation and the results of mmls3 accelerated loading test,the paper forecasts the remaining service life of two typical pavement structures,and puts forward a prediction method for the remaining service life of two typical pavement structures in Fujian Province.It is concluded that for normal pavement rutting up to 10 mm,semi-rigid base and composite base pavement structures need 5-6 years and 3-4 years respectively,while for deep rutting The rutting of the road section reaches 20 mm,and the typical structures of the two pavements need4 years and 2-3 years respectively.Finally,the damage condition of two typical pavement structures is evaluated and predicted.Based on the field investigation of relying on Expressway,the core of two typical pavement structure damaged sections is taken,and it is found that the anti reflection crack performance of the combined base pavement structure is better.Combined with the immersion Marshall stability test to evaluate the water stability performance,combined with the splitting tensile strength test to evaluate the anti cracking performance,it is found that the amphoteric energy is better.Based on the prediction of the remaining service life of the two typical structures,it is found that the semi-rigid base structure will continue to crack after 3-4 years of use in adverse conditions,while the combined base structure will occur in 2-3 years of use.This also provides a basis for the follow-up protection and maintenance.
