Research on pavement performance can provide important reference for extending the service life ofthe pavement.The paper for the using condition of semi-rigid base asphalt pavement in xinjiang toinvestigation and evaluation, which focuses on traffic composition, climate, hydrology, pavement structure,usage condition of Turpan-Urumqi-DaHuangShan highway to survey and detect. According to the situationof research and detecting data, the paper makes evaluation of using condition of asphalt pavement ofTurpan-Urumqi-DaHuangShan high-grade highway and analyzes the causes of pavement diseases.According to the distribution of subgrade soil to divide the Turpan-Urumqi-DaHuangShan highway, it isdiscussed different geological conditions make impact on the pavement performance.Based on thepavement structure parameters of Turpan-Urumqi-DaHuangShan, using finite element software ANSYS toanalysis stress distribution on typical section of Turpan-Urumqi-DaHuangShan highway,the paper discussesdifferent load strength, subgrade modulus, base modulus mechanical properties of structural pavementmake influence on pavement structure mechanical characteristics.The paper summarizes the experience and the existing problems of Turpan-Urumqi-DaHuangShanhighway which is under operation and puts forward to improve and modify opinions.Combined researchsituation and the characteristics of the Xinjiang region, the paper proposes improvement measures to adaptto the durability of the highway in Xinjiang.The survey and analysis of pavement performance and thecomprehensive evaluation of Turpan-Urumqi-DaHuangShan highway show that it is the best to improvesubgrade modulus in order to improve pavement durability effectively on the condition of the arid and largetemperature environment and increasing traffic in Xinjiang.
