Nowadays, the concept of " green commuting " is more and more deeply rooted in the hearts of people.Residents are more inclined to choose walking when choosing a travel method that is not far from the travel destination. Therefore, the research on pedestrian traffic is gradually rich and detailed, involving pedestrian crossing behavior, pedestrian traffic organization, pedestrian traffic flow,etc.aspect.Although Some scholars have found that pedestrians have individual differences. In most cases, the pedestrian flow is heterogeneous. This is similar to the traffic flow. And in the early traffic engineering research, the passenger-car equivalents is studied by scholars as an important parameter. At present, the research content of passenger-car equivalents is gradually mature. The research on standard pedestrian equivalent is almost blank. In view of such situation,This issue chooses to conduct preliminary research on standard pedestrian equivalent. The dissertation is composed of three parts: theoretical research, data collection analysis and pedestrian micro-simulation.Among them, the pedestrian micro-simulation part is the core content, and theoretical research and data collection analysis provide theoretical foundation and data support for it.Theoretical research:This issue summarizes the mainstream passenger-car equivalents algorithm, and at the same time comparatively analyzes the differences and similarities between pedestrian walking and vehicle running, and chooses universal walkways with a relatively simple pedestrian traffic environment as the scope of standard pedestrian equivalent research.According to pedestrian heterogeneity, pedestrians are classified from two aspects:walking speed and space occupation, and standard pedestrians are determined during conversion research.Three standard pedestrian equivalent methods based on total travel time, based on speed change and capacity algorithms are proposed.Data collection and analysis: This research selects suitable locations for pedestrian data collection and sorting on the sidewalks. It mainly uses video shooting and manual extraction to obtain the free walking speed of different types of pedestrians. And from the perspective of speed difference, further divide pedestrians into standard pedestrians, type Ⅰ pedestrians and type Ⅱ pedestrians for simulation.Pedestrian micro-simulation:This article uses Anylogic 7 Personal Learning Edition software to construct traffic environment and model pedestrian behavior from two aspects: speed difference and space occupancy difference, and use collected pedestrian walking speed data and predecessor research data on pedestrian size to carry on the calibration of micro-simulation model parameters.A total of hundreds of simulations were conducted to obtain pedestrian flow total travel time and average pedestrian walking speed for pedestrians under different flows and with different mixing rates, and pedestrian traffic data with different mixing rates under saturated flows.Use the required output data separately to calculate with three methods to get the standard pedestrian equivalent factors at different mixing rates and different flows. Finally, the application of the three standard pedestrian equivalent methods is briefly analyzed. The research in this dissertation provides a theoretical reference for further in-depth improvement of standard pedestrian equivalent methods research and other pedestrian-related studies that need to be considered for standard pedestrian equivalent.
