Company A is the most influential and core competitive construction and installation company of China Construction Group Corporation,a Fortune 500 company.It has first-class qualification for general construction contracting such as petrochemical construction general contracting,mechanical and electrical installation,and municipal public works.Company A’s comprehensive strength is in the leading position in the domestic installation industry.In order to achieve the strategic goals of leading international installation companies in China and first-class international professional companies of the same kind in the world,and to implement the strategic positioning of ―playing professional companies to support the development of the main business of the entire system‖,Company A urgently needs to clarify its market positioning and leverage its core competition to meet the rapidly growing production and operation needs and improve the overall strength of the enterprise.Therefore,this article takes Company A’s market positioning as the research object,and comprehensively uses management theories and methods such as PEST analysis,Porter’s five-force model analysis,and SWOT analysis to analyze the internal and external marketing environment of Company A and identify Company A’s strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats,then subdivide Company A’s market in China,choose a suitable target market,and propose the corresponding market positioning based on the characteristics of the target market,hoping to improve the marketing management level of Company A and marketing performance to achieve sustainable and healthy development.
