| Influenced by Globalization and informatization,the connections between cities have greatly changed.These connections show the characteristics of breaking ranks and spanning different scales,therefore,the network research of the city is a very important theme and direction,which is a new direction of city system research to adapt to the current social development.Integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta（YRD）is an important national regional development strategy.The connection between cities of the YRD,is getting closer and closer,which has broken through the restrictions of previous grades and scales,and entered the stage of network development.Studying on the spatial pattern of city connection network in the YRD,exploring the function and division of labor of each node city and the influence the network connection has on regional economic growth,are not only conducive to improving the relevant research of city network in theory,but also provide scientific support for higher quality integrated development.The study first clarifies the related concepts of city network and regional economic growth,exploring the structural characteristics and effects of the city network in the YRD from the perspective of enterprise organization network by combining the theory of city network and literature review.This study takes 41 cities of the YRD as the research unit,uses the enterprise database of Reset platform from 2006 to 2018,and uses My SQL software to process the enterprise headquarters-branch data of 41 cities in the YRD,and carries on the descriptive statistical analysis of the research data.By using UCINET software,the indexes of network density,network center potential,point center degree and intermediary center degree are measured and the spatial characteristics of city network structure in the YRD are revealed,and the spatial visualization is carried out by using Arc GIS software.On this basis,the fixed effect model is calculated by using Stata software,and the economic growth effect produced by city network is deeply analyzed,discussed and analyzed.The results show that: 1)‘single center,low level’to‘multi-centers,high level’is the overall spatial pattern of the city network structure in the YRD.At present,Shanghai,Hangzhou,Nanjing,Suzhou,Ningbo and other cities have been formed as the center of development.2)the city network connections show obvious differences between the east and the west,and regional network in the east is larger than west.Specially,Anhui Province is in the process of joining the regional network.3)the city network is not only‘multi-centers’ in form but also‘multi-centers’ in function.From the structure and connection,we can see that more and more cities have the functional characteristics of specialized nodes,and the division of labor and cooperation among large,medium,small and medium-sized cities,giving full play of the network synergy effect to promote regional economic growth.4)the city network effect on the YRD is obvious that close city ties promote the regional economic growth to a certain extent.The improvement of connectivity benefits from the interconnection between cities,which accelerates the flow of resource elements within the network,thus promoting economic growth.5)one of the reason for the sustained economic growth in the YRD is that while its city network links are constantly strengthening,the power of the core cities is constantly being dispersed and transferred,showing an obvious diffusion effect,breaking the deadlock of‘path dependence’ and ‘path locking’,and the development of regional economy is also moving towards a higher quality.In view of the present situation of the development of the city network in the YRD,with synthesizing the influence of the network connection characteristics on the regional economy,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: improving the living environment of enterprises,giving important position of enterprises to play the initiative in the city economic connection network;enhancing the breadth and depth of city connection network to provide a good foundation for the high-quality development of regional economy;building a platform for cities to have cooperation,coordinating inter-regional economic development,and promoting high-quality integrated development. |
