Automobile industry is the pillar industry of China’s national economy.China’s automobile production and sales volume has been the first in the world for ten consecutive years.The automobile parts industry has also developed rapidly with the rapid growth of automobile industry.However,China’s automobile production and sales volume has been negative growth for two consecutive years since 2018,and the industry cannot enjoy the benefits of growth any longer.At the same time,foreign auto parts enterprises rush into the domestic market,taking advantage of their first-mover advantages in technology and management,occupying the market share and development space of auto parts enterprises.Now,the industry has ushered a new “four modernizations” stage of development in “intelligent,network-connected,electrical and sharing” vehicles,causing the technology innovation to speed up and the requirements for quality to be more stringent.With these changes aggravating the competition of auto parts enterprises,coping with the problem of how to improve the core competitiveness has become a necessity for these enterprises to survive and develop.As a private auto parts enterprise and like many other similar enterprises,TEMB Company is also facing increasingly severe market competition,so it is urgent to continue to improve its core competence.This paper starts with the comparison of the theories of core competence at home and abroad.Analyzing the political,economic,social environment and technical factors that are closely related to auto parts industry by PEST.Using SWOT to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of TEMB and the opportunities and threats TEMB faces to clarify the advantages and problems of the company’s core competence.Tapping on the value chain theory,this thesis also analyzes the operation flow of the company in details,and finds the key to enhance its core competence.Based on the analysis above,the paper puts forward specific measures and suggestions for TEMB to enhance its core competence,such as the implementation of technology innovation strategy,the strengthening of human resources development strategy,and the strengthening of corporate culture construction.The findings of this thesis can be used for meaningful reference to enhance the core competitiveness of private auto parts enterprises represented by TEMB. |
