Identification And Governance Of Opportunistic Behaviors In Construction Project Transaction

Opportunistic behaviors among construction project transaction subjects are very common,which not only hinders the improvement of project performance and transaction efficiency,but also destroys the orderly and healthy development of the whole construction industry.In this context,it is of great significance to effectively identify opportunistic behaviors in construction project transactions and analyze the key success factors of governance opportunistic behaviors.The research contents and main conclusions of this paper include the following four aspects:(1)Through literature analysis and retrieval of judgment documents,the opportunistic behaviors between the construction side of employers and the construction side of contractors are preliminarily identified,classified and summarized according to the characteristics of each behavior,and the behavior index system is established.Using IDEF0 analysis method to design the opportunistic behavior identification information model,and initially build the design idea of the identification model,which can be used to discover opportunistic behavior in the future.(2)Based on the triangle theory of fraud,this paper analyzes the formation mechanism of opportunistic behavior in the field of construction from four aspects: behavior pressure,behavior opportunity,rationalization excuses,and income estimation.(3)By literature analysis,the influencing factors of opportunistic behavior governance of construction project are identified preliminarily,and then the data set of the importance degree of the influencing factors is obtained through questionnaire survey.With the help of SPSS 22.0 software,the influencing factors were extracted into six major influencing factors by means of multivariate statistical method and exploratory factor analysis,and named and explained.(4)Using confirmatory factor analysis to verify the measurement model formed by the extraction results of influencing factors.The path analysis method of structural equation model is used to explore the relationship between opportunistic behavior governance factors,and the three most obvious influencing factors are construction process management,industry standard degree and market credit system.Among them,construction process management is the direct reason to affect opportunistic behavior governance performance,while industry standard degree is the fundamental reason that affects the governance performance of opportunistic behaviors.The key path to get the most obvious effect is the level of industry norms to opportunistic behavior governance.Based on the above research conclusions,the paper puts forward practical suggestions for opportunistic behavior governance,which is conducive to the understanding and grasp of the work focus of the governance body and improve the governance effect.
