Study On The Design Of Lower Limb Rehabilitation Aids For The Elderly With Mild Disability

There are more than 200 million old people in our country,which has almost become the most disabled old people in the world,and the number is still increasing year by year.However,the application of rehabilitation aids for the elderly with mild disability is not ideal,less than 10% of them actually get rehabilitation services,and fewer people are equipped with AIDS.Most of these old people suffer from diseases,and they need nursing and rehabilitation training.65% of the old people who need care are due to the physical movement disorder,which reduces their ability of self-care,and correspondingly increases the burden of rehabilitation care.Therefore,the wide application of auxiliary devices for the elderly with mild disability can protect the safety of nursing staff,improve the efficiency of nursing,maintain the dignity of the elderly,and also slow down the process of disability for the elderly.The product design and development space for the elderly in China still needs to be filled,especially for the elderly with mild disability,the rehabilitation auxiliary products are far from meeting the needs of users,which needs to be widely concerned by the community.The lower limb rehabilitation aids for the elderly with mild disability are closely related to the daily life of the elderly,so the subject uses the theory of user experience and mental model to analyze and study the lower limb rehabilitation aids for the elderly,and in the form of the design of the lower limb rehabilitation aids for the elderly with mild disability to alleviate the contradiction between the auxiliary products and users.This paper uses the theory of user experience and mental model to analyze the user in the design,so as to establish the user mental model,and find out the real target user image,so as to find the real pain point and demand and product design process.In the following design practice,taking rehabilitation assistive products as an example,the feasibility of the design process under the guidance of the design theory is verified,which can provide some reference for the design output of other lower extremity rehabilitation assistive products.Based on the theory of user experience and mental model,we pay more attention to the user’s feeling and experience,let the mildly disabled elderly users to dominate the right to use the product,through the further analysis of the target users,let the users participate in the product design to a certain extent.Complete the theoretical research,user investigation,product analysis,design practice and product iteration optimization of the project,so as to attract more researchers to pay attention to the design of rehabilitation products for the elderly,and contribute to the construction of a safe,comfortable and healthy daily life for the elderly with mild disability.The research content of this paper includes the following parts.The first part introduces the background,purpose and significance of the research project,followed by a detailed analysis of the current situation of the elderly rehabilitation aids at home and abroad,and finally the main research methods and ideas of this project.The second part is the design theory research of this paper,which explains the concepts,elements and development of user experience and mental model theory respectively,and then discusses the application of design theory in the elderly sit up rehabilitation aids through case analysis.The third part of the study of the users of the mild disabled elderly,from the physiological,psychological,behavioral and consumer psychological characteristics of the mild disabled elderly detailed analysis,and finally from these user characteristics,summed up the design elements of the sit up training rehabilitation aids,for the follow-up design practice to make an important theoretical basis.The fourth part summarizes the potential needs of users by means of questionnaire,in-depth interview and user observation,and summarizes the key points of design practice based on user needs analysis.The fifth part is based on the content analysis of the above several parts,to design and practice the rehabilitation assistive device and massage instrument for the elderly with mild disability,mainly including the product appearance,function,human-computer dimension,CMF and high fidelity design of interactive interface,and finally to evaluate the feasibility of the scheme design.By using jack software and user experience feasibility test scale to analyze product design evaluation and user experience evaluation,the product iterative design is summarized based on experience evaluation.The last part is the summary and Prospect of this topic.
