Research On The Optimization Of Fixed Assets Management Of No.7 Branch Company In Qinhuangdao Port

Qinhuangdao Port is located in the beautiful coastal city named Qinhuangdao,which is the core hub port of "west coal transportation to the east" and "North coal transportation to the south".As an asset intensive and equipment dependent enterprise,the smooth operation of equipment is particularly important for ensuring port production,fixed assets management needs to be improved and optimized according to the needs of enterprise development.It takes the fixed assets management of No.7 Branch Company in Qinhuangdao Port as the research object in this paper,first of all,it introduces the basic concepts of fixed assets,fixed assets management and enterprise asset management system,and elaborates the two management theories of life cycle management and ABC inventory classification management which are widely used in the field of fixed assets management.Next,it analyzes the current situation of the fixed assets management of No.7 Branch Company in Qinhuangdao Port,the fixed assets management work of the company is carried out jointly by several functional departments,which provides a solid guarantee for the production and operation of the company,and uses the enterprise asset management system(EAM system)with work order as the main line as the software support.Then,it mainly introduces the problems existing in the fixed assets management of the company in this paper,mainly including the following five aspects: the division of work is not detailed enough,the amount of material inventory is inconsistent between accounts and materials,the operation speed of the asset management system is slow,the system function can not fully meet the needs of asset management,and the system background setting has defects.Through in-depth analysis,the main reasons for these problems are the lack of strong sense of responsibility of personnel,the lack of system specification in the initial stage of asset management system,the lack of optimization and improvement of asset management system,the lack of regular improvement of operators’ professional skills,and insufficient supervision.In order to solve the above problems,it optimizes and perfects the following five aspects in this paper: strengthening the understanding of enterprise asset management ideas,updating the asset management system in time,using mobile phone app technology and barcode technology,improving personnel business skills,and doing a good job in the follow-up maintenance of the asset management system.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimization scheme,it provides a strong guarantee from the four aspects of system,technology,personnel and funds.
