At present,China’s building energy consumption accounts for about 30% of the total energy consumption of the whole society. With the continuous increase of China’s building total and the improvement of residential thermal comfort requirements,it will show a sharp upward trend.Since 2010,the state has vigorously promoted passive architecture, and the government has issued a series of incentive policies, but the development of passive architecture is still in its infancy. In this paper, the residential building in Nantong is taken as the research object.First, the passive design strategy of the building is carded out.Secondly, the climatic characteristics of Nantong area are analyzed, the questionnaire survey of the existing residential buildings and the measured data of indoor thermal environment are analyzed, and a case study of Jinxiu Garden District of typical residential building is carried out to study the adaptability of the passive building design strategy in Nantong area. Finally, the feasibility of the passive building design strategy is verified by De ST energy consumption simulation software. The research contents are divided into the following five chapters:Chapter 1: This chapter explains the background, research method, purpose and significance of the topic, expounds the relevant theoretical and practical research at home and abroad, defines the concept of residential building and passive building design, and determines the technical route framework.Chapter 2: Combing the current domestic and foreign passive building design strategy and building energy consumption simulation related theoretical research,to provide theoretical support for the construction of residential passive design strategy in Nantong area.Chapter 3: This chapter analyzes the climate and environment characteristics of Nantong area, summarizes the characteristics, energy consumption and the main behavior patterns of users in winter and summer through the results of residential building questionnaire survey.Based on the investigation of the selected typical residential areas and the measured data of indoor thermal environment, the existing problems of Nantong residential buildings and the necessity of passive building design are summarized.Chapter 4: Taking Jinxiu Garden District in Nantong as an example, this chapter studies the adaptability of passive architectural design from the aspects of architectural planning and design, architectural monomer design, user behavior pattern design, renewable energy utilization and lighting system design, and through the quantitative analysis of software, determines the planning and layout form of residential buildings in Nantong District,as well as the best orientation, window wall ratio, appropriate plane form.Passive design strategies such as sun shading and non renewable energy utilization.Chapter 5: Using the building energy consumption simulation software De ST,this chapter makes a comparative analysis of the passive design strategy of Jinxiu Garden District from three aspects of energy-saving benefits, feasibility and economy before and after application, which verifies the feasibility of the passive design strategy of Nantong city. The conclusions drawn from the research are as follows: before 2010,the thermal performance of residential buildings in Nantong area is poor, and air conditioning equipment is needed to maintain indoor thermal comfort in winter and summer;the software simulation determines passive architectural design strategies such as residential planning layout form, building optimal orientation, window wall ratio, appropriate plane form, window shading mode and renewable energy utilization;the energy consumption simulation software is used to analyze the corresponding The passive building strategy can save 39% energy, and the feasibility of this strategy is analyzed quantitatively.
