Research On Color Protection And Planning Of Beijing Old City Historical District Based On Munsell System

As the modern capital city of China,Beijing is also an international metropolis with abundant historical and cultural resources.Influenced by China’s traditional color "ritual system",it has developed into the most significant historical and cultural city after thousands of years.In recent years,with the rapid construction of urbanization in China,all cities are facing the crisis of urban characteristics.As an important embodiment of the city image,the city color of Beijing has undoubtedly become the primary object of our attention under the crisis of characteristics.If Beijing is the symbol of China,then the old city is the symbol of Beijing city.This paper selects the old city of Beijing as a large-scale research object,and on this basis,selects the historical and cultural blocks of the old city with the most cultural value as the research object at the medium and micro levels.This paper aims to improve the theory and method of urban color protection and planning in Beijing old city,improve the color protection and planning framework of Beijing old city historic district,and put forward the overall requirements for color protection and planning and design of Beijing old city historic district.It is expected to "make Beijing more like Beijing",strengthen the cultural characteristics of the old city of Beijing,activate the vitality of history and culture,improve the image of the city and enhance the competitiveness of the city,so that the color characteristics of the old city of Beijing can inherit the traditional color "ritual system" and highlight the unique color spatial pattern of the old city.At the same time,this paper attempts to put forward a general,reasonable and feasible research method and conclusion for the study of color planning of historical districts by studying the theories and methods of color protection and planning of historical cities.This paper combines the "ritual system" of Beijing city color and the traditional color culture,and explores the color protection and planning suitable for the historic district of Beijing old city with the protection as the starting point.Through field investigation,literature review,qualitative and quantitative research methods such as analysis,color quantization control combining with sum up historical block in the old color characteristics,use of munsell system of all kinds of style of the old area of all kinds of building types to the establishment of the database of colour and colour characteristics of the evaluation,trying to establish a reasonable color feature model.On this basis,the content of color atmosphere,color proportion composition,color range and color matching map suitable for the historic district of the old city is put forward.Based on the color feature model of historic districts in the old city and the current national policy,this paper puts forward relevant strategies for color protection and planning in the old city,which mainly include four aspects: control principle,protection and planning basis,protection and planning conception,as well as the objectives and wishes of protection and planning.In the aspect of color protection and planning conception,the guidance and control are carried out at the macro,middle and micro levels,namely overall color protection and planning,regional color protection and planning,and block color protection and planning.Color guidance design is carried out at the block level for key areas.
