Highway transportation has the highest popularizing rate among the five modes of transportation,the annual volume of passenger and cargo transport accounts for more than 70% of the total.As an important part of the highway system,freeways mostly bear long distances and large traffic volume of inter-city transportation.With the improvement of China’s freehway construction,China’s freeway mileage has already ranked first in the world.the number of motor vehicles and drivers is also growing rapidly.There are more and more users of highways,highway safety problems continues to grow unabated.Considering the high speed of the expressway and the complicated road alignment,there are many dangerous sections such as long downhill slopes and sharp turns.The damage caused by the accident is huge,and the focus of the expressways construction in China has shifted from quantitative to qualitative.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the safety of the expressway by studying the historical traffic accident data of the expressway,excavating the mechanism of the accident occurrence,and discovering the factors that affect the expressway accident.This article takes the traffic accidents of Taigan Expressway and Changjin Expressway in Jiangxi Province from 2012 to 2017 as the research object,firstly,discussing the correlation between single factors and the severity of expressway accidents.The variables are analyzed by different types.The classic statistical correlation index and the maximum information coefficient(MIC)are used,and the results are compared.Then the variables related to the severity of traffic accidents are screened out initially.Based on the variables selected by single factor analysis,This article explore the multifactor management rules of the expressway.The Apriori algorithm of frequent item mining is adopted.According to the characteristics of expressway traffic accident data,the data is adapted to the algorithm,and the algorithm parameters are reasonably set according to the data.Through mining the strong association rules to analyze the accident rules of different severity.Combining the Apriori algorithm and complex network theory to achieve the construction and analysis of the expressway traffic accident factor network.The analysis is carried out from the two aspects of the whole network and network nodes,so as to further dig the potential information of the data.Finally,according to the research results of this paper,corresponding measures are proposed for expressway accident prevention and emergency response system.
