Rainy weather is one of the important factors influencing the safety of highway driving.Rainy driving will increase the psychological and physiological burdens of drivers,affect their normal judgment and operation,cause frequent accidents,and cause serious casualties and economic losses.At present,researches on ensuring the safety of driving on rainy days are mostly based on the parking line-of-sight model for speed limit,and there are few studies on identifying the frequent occurrence of rainy road accidents and comprehensively evaluating the speed limit of road sections.The dissertation first collects statistics on rainy accidents on the Shuima Expressway.Based on the advantages,disadvantages,and ranges of multiple accident-prone sections,the moving step method and cumulative frequency curve method are combined to identify the Suma-ma Expressway on rainy accidents: exclusion For accidents that occur accidentally,a certain weight is given to the number of casualties in the remaining accidents for quantitative treatment.1km is selected as the length of the unit section and 200 m is the step length.Five complete divided sections are obtained.According to the equivalent weight in each unit section Calculate the accident frequency and cumulative frequency according to the number of accidents,and draw a cumulative frequency curve chart to obtain the rainy accident-prone sections according to the sudden change points in the figure;secondly,analyze the traffic accident characteristics of the rainy accident-prone sections;Select the lateral offset value,lateral acceleration,lateral load transfer rate and lateral force coefficient to characterize the vehicle ’s the track following error,side slip risk,rollover risk,and driving comfort in rainy weather,determine the grading evaluation criteria for each index;after dimensionless processing of each index,use the dynamic comprehensive evaluation method to determine the grading comprehensive evaluation criteria;finally,use Carsim simulation software to construct vehicle models,driver models,and road models.According to the risk assessment system for rainy accident-prone sections,analyze the driving safety status of each section at different operating speeds,and determine the optimal limit for each section.Speed value,and put forward corresponding safety improvement measures.In this paper,from the perspective of rainy accident-prone road sections,a comprehensive risk assessment system for road sections is established,and vehicle simulation technology is combined with road alignment for simulation analysis to determine the optimal speed limit value of each road section,which provides new ideas for the study of rainy driving safety.It is of great significance to reduce the accident rate of rainy weather on the Shuima Expressway,ensure the safety of life and property,and improve the safety of traffic on rainy days.
