With the continuous expansion of the scale of cities,the problem of traffic congestion in cities along the river has gradually increased.As the bottleneck link in the regional transportation network,the urban river crossing channel is an important channel connecting the groups at both ends of the river and a necessary stage for the development of the city embracing the river.In a certain sense,it holds the lifeline of the traffic development of the city along the river,so it has important practical significance to ensure the normal operation of the river crossing channel and the surrounding road network.Existing researches on river crossing channels and urban road networks are more on the planning connection of the two,and there is less research on the coordinated control of regional signals of the overall river crossing road network.Based on this,this article has carried out the relevant research on the coordinated control of the signals of the urban river crossing channel and the surrounding road network area.Firstly,according to the characteristics of the river crossing channel and the surrounding road network,the idea of hierarchical and sub-object control is proposed.The controlled area is divided into two control layers and four control sub-objects.The priority control layer corresponds to the two control sub-objects of the river crossing artery and the regional boundary to ensure the efficient operation of the river crossing channel;the non-priority control layer corresponds to the two control sub-objects of the pivotal artery and the pivotal intersection to improve the overall efficiency of the river crossing system.The coordinated control among the control sub-objects will comprehensively act on the entire river crossing channel and the surrounding road network.Secondly,the research on the coordinated control strategy of timed road network for river crossing channel.According to the timing control method and the hierarchical and sub-object control idea,four timing coordinated control strategies are formulated,namely the one-way coordinated control strategy of the river crossing artery based on the overlapping phase,the layer-by-layer control strategy based on the regional boundary of the shortest driving time,segment arterial coordination control strategy based on maximum traffic relief and the pivotal intersection signal control strategy based on saturation balance.Four specific object-oriented timing strategies work together to enable as many vehicles as possible to pass through the river crossing channel without stopping,improving the operating efficiency of the road network.Thirdly,research on the adaptive control strategy of road network for river crossing channel.According to the adaptive control method and the idea of hierarchical and sub-object control,and fully considering conditions such as multi-phase saturation balance,phase priority setting,and fixed or unfixed cycle time,a multi-phase-based incremental Split Selection adaptive control is proposed Strategy and incremental Split Selection adaptive control strategy based on overlap phase.According to the traffic state and saturation level of each phase of the river crossing system,the green time increase and decrease of each phase is calculated,so as to realize the dynamic balance between the green time and saturation of each phase to improve the traffic efficiency of regional traffic.Finally,aiming at the two different control strategies proposed in this paper,taking the Jinshan Bridge and Youxizhou Bridge in Fuzhou City and the surrounding road network as the research objects,the simulation software of VISSIM is used to analyze them.The experimental results show that the optimization effects of the two different control strategies are better than the current situation.And when the traffic management department needs to quickly relieve the congestion on the river crossing channel,it can adopt a timing coordinated control strategy;if it needs to maintain the traffic flow inside the controlled area in a balanced state for a period,it can adopt an adaptive cooperative control strategy.
