Research On Efficiency Evaluation Of Urban Rail Transit Based On PCA-DEA

In recent years,the rapid development of urban rail transit has provided great convenience to urban residents and greatly improved the infrastructure level of each city.At the same time,there have been some problems such as the single development form and the non-standard passenger transport intensity.The state has issued relevant documents to strengthen the guidance and restriction on the development of urban rail transit.Therefore,it is of great significance to study scientific methods to evaluate the efficiency of urban rail transit,find out the problems existing in urban rail transit system,and guide its healthy and orderly development.By comparing the merits,demerits and applicability of various evaluation methods,the PCA-DEA method is considered to be a more scientific evaluation method.Therefore,it is considered to be applied to the efficiency evaluation of urban rail transit.First of all,by defining the concept of "efficiency","urban rail transit efficiency" and "urban rail transit efficiency evaluation",combining the characteristics of PCA-DEA method,based on the summary and analysis of relevant literature,an index system consisting of two parts of input and output indexes is established,covering economic indexes,energy consumption indexes,passenger transport indexes and benefit indexes.Then,by combining the research content of this paper,the author introduces the analysis methods used in this paper,including clustering analysis,principal component analysis and data envelopment analysis,which are expanded from three parts: basic principle,calculation process and result analysis,then,the solution method of PCA-DEA model is introduced..On this basis,this paper selects 7 cities from all cities that have opened urban rail transit by using cluster analysis method,analyzes the current situation of rail transit development of these 7 cities,and collects the data of corresponding indexes of each city in 2018,evaluates them by using traditional DEA method and PCA-DEA method,and makes comparative analysis,production efficiency analysis,relaxation variable analysis and super analysis on the evaluation results.Finally,some suggestions are put forward for the evaluation results.The research results show that PCA-DEA method is more suitable for the evaluation of urban rail transit efficiency,and this method can also provide reference for the development planning and adjustment strategy of rail transit industry,help to improve the efficiency of urban rail transit,and promote the healthy and orderly development of rail transit industry.
