Under the background of the increasing urban area and population,the urban underground utility tunnels can not only meet the increasing demands of urban residents for production and living resources,but also effectively solve the problems caused by the expansion and renovation of utility tunnels by coordinating various municipal pipelines and centralized development and construction.However,the continuous cost overruns,schedule delays,gas leakage,cable overload,pipeline explosion,traffic congestion,collapse accidents and other problems have seriously hindered the construction and promotion of utility tunnels in China.As the direct basis for the construction and operation of utility tunnels,the design scheme is the soul of the construction and operation of utility tunnels.From the perspective of design unit,this paper evaluates the design risk of utility tunnels and presents design risk control means,which is helpful to improve the design quality of utility tunnels and the risk management awareness of the design unit.In this paper,the risk evaluation content,risk evaluation method and risk prevention measures are firstly reviewed,and the researches related to design risk of utility tunnels is summarized;Secondly,literature review,expert interview and questionnaire survey were used to construct the design risk evaluation indicator system of urban underground utility tunnels;Thirdly,combining analytic hierarchy process,entropy weight method and gray evaluation method,the design risk evaluation model of utility tunnels is established,and the SGXC utility tunnels is taken as an example for empirical research;Finally,from the level of design unit and project management,the paper puts forward the design risk prevention means of urban underground utility tunnels.The design risk indicator system of utility tunnels covers five aspects: design quality risks,design management risks,design information risks,design ability risks and design environment risks.The empirical results show that the design risk evaluation results of SGXC utility tunnel are basically consistent with the actual situation,and the design risk evaluation indicator system and evaluation model constructed in this paper have certain rationality and applicability.
