Research On The Application Of Excellent Performance Model In The Strategic Management Of J Company

With the development of national electric power industry,many domestic enterprises specializing in electric power engineering construction made great contributions to the construction of electric power infrastructure.But with the continuous deepening of China’s electric power system reform and the implementation of supply-side structural reform,capacity cutting and environmental protection policies in recent years,electric power engineering enterprises are also facing fierce competitions.In the face of new forms of business and new environment,organizational performance and management ability of enterprises,especially strategic management,are of vital importance.However,the low strategic management level of many power engineering enterprises lags far behind the progress of production technology,which makes them difficult to fully adapt to new changes.Performance excellence model is an effective organizational performance model,which has been widely used in the world and proved to be effective.Enterprises from various industries actively introduce performance excellence model to conduct comprehensive diagnosis of enterprises,promote management improvement,and pursue excellence.Strategic management is an important category in the performance excellence model.It highly summarizes all the content of strategic management and integrates many strategic management theories,which is an important reference and guiding role for corporate diagnosis and improvement of strategic management.So far,only a few electric power engineering companies introduced performance excellence model.This thesis aims to take specific power engineering companies as examples to study the whole process of performance excellence model applying to strategic management.And also attempts to summarize the relevant experience of power engineering companies to strengthen and improve their strategic management,and put forward suggestions,so as to provide certain reference value and reference significance to power engineering enterprises to use of performance excellence model.This thesis collects,organizes and analyzes the related theories and application results of the performance excellence model and strategic management,and analyzes the strategic management issues existing in the J company before the performance excellence model was introduced.Based on the strategic management specific requirements required by performance excellence evaluation standard,this thesis comprehensively uses a variety of methods and tools,clarifies the entire process of strategic planning formulation and deployment,conducts a detailed summary and evaluation of the implementation effects and puts forward corresponding opinions,which provides a useful reference for power engineering companies to apply performance excellence model to strengthen strategic management.
