With the continuous development of the construction scale of the smart pipe gallery,more and more devices are connected to the pipe gallery,and more and more data need to be processed.The cloud computing platform is also facing increasing pressure when facing the massive pipe gallery equipment data.In order to be able to respond and deal with emergencies in a more timely manner,computing capabilities and "smart" capabilities are also required on the device side.By processing some data at the edge,to share the pressure of the cloud computing platform,and how to balance the cloud computing platform load has become a top priority.Based on the above problems,combined with the low latency,high reliability,and high scalability of edge computing,this paper designs and implements an edge computing gateway.On the edge side of the smart pipe gallery,a gateway platform is built to solve problems and provide services for edge devices and cloud computing platforms.This article first addresses the problem of edge computing gateways interacting with edge devices and connecting with cloud computing platforms.Based on microservice-related technologies and the Edgex Foundry open source edge computing framework,the overall design of the edge computing gateway is proposed.In view of the important position of the edge computing gateway,in order to reduce the occurrence of failures,this paper introduces the circuit breaker mode and the bulkhead mode,and proposes the flexible design of the edge computing gateway;for the automatic operation and maintenance of the edge computing gateway,from data transmission and equipment In terms of control,the autonomous design of the edge computing gateway is proposed;in view of the load problem of the edge computing gateway,the load balancing design of the edge computing gateway is proposed from the two aspects of microservice discovery and cloud computing platform load balancing.Combined with other functions of the edge computing gateway,the edge computing gateway is designed into four layers,namely the device service layer,the core service layer,the support service layer,the cloud edge service layer,and two auxiliary modules.The equipment service layer provides secure access to equipment and unified equipment management functions;the core service layer provides data analysis and data transmission functions;the support service layer provides log records,alarms and other functions;the cloud edge service layer provides cloud computing platform registration And management,as well as the issuance of cloud computing platform commands and other functions.Finally,based on the above design,the edge computing gateway is implemented.This paper designs and implements an edge computing gateway through in-depth research on gateway management,gateway fault handling,microservice load,and cloud computing platform load.At the same time,it also implements device connection and management,data collection and transmission,and cloud computing platform.In-depth thinking has been carried out in aspects such as the connection of the cloud,the transmission of cloud-side data,and the issuance of cloud computing platform commands.It played an important role in the smart pipe gallery of the actual project,reflecting great economic value and social value.
