After 40 years of reform and opening up,private enterprises,as the main support force of county economy,have generally faced the test of succession.Zhuji is one of the most developed counties in Zhejiang and even in China.It is one of the top ten counties in China.More than 70% of the private enterprises are faced with the problem of succession,which has certain research significance.This paper selects vie group,a listed private enterprise in Zhuji,and systematically analyzes the whole process of its two successors taking over the management power from the founder.In this paper,the existing literature and achievements of intergenerational inheritance of family business are summarized by using literature method,and the inheritance process of vie group is divided into four stages with reference to Lansberg’s four stage succession model.The unique characteristics of each stage are discussed,and the basic tasks faced by entrepreneurs and their chosen successors are analyzed.At the same time,combined with the series of changes in equity,management rights and social capital of vie group during the succession period,as well as the changes in the group’s enterprise performance,strategic direction and corporate culture during the succession period,the relatively comprehensive succession process of vie group and some important measures to promote its success during this period are obtained,such as paying attention to innovation,formulating standards,improving the quality of enterprises,and so on Finally,vie group’s suggestions on Succession and succession of local family enterprises,such as formulating succession plan,paying attention to power distribution and strengthening risk control,are put forward to help private enterprises smoothly change generations. |
