Our country can produce a large number of corn stalks every year,Direct combustion will bring serious harm to land,environment and people’s life and health.Therefore,corn straw is used as a main raw material to produce hollow core tubes by extrusion molding to replace the traditional production technology and production mode of hollow core tubes made of wood and waste paper.At present,the poor quality of the experimental sheet will appear which is extruded by the powder cone profile extruder,so the key parts of the powder cone profile extruder are optimized,and the optimized conical single screw has larger taper,longer pitch,longer effective working length,and is equipped with pin mixing and exhaust device,it is more suitable for corn straw forming core tube.Then,the influence of rotational speed and outlet pressure on the internal pressure field distribution and the maximum pressure of the optimized powder cone profile extruder was investigated by ANSYS fluid simulation,furthermore,the influence on the quality of the extruded core tube is analyzed.Optimized powder cone extruder was used to extrude the experimental sheet of corn stalks,then,samples are made according to the national standards of tensile,cantilever impact and sheet impact test samples,finally,the performance tests of the samples were carried out by using microcomputer controlled electronic universal testing machine,XJUY-55 liquid crystal cantilever impact testing machine and STD-A thin film impact testing instrument.The results are as follows:The maximum load of 20-mesh sample is greater than that of 80-mesh sample than that of paper reel;The maximum tensile strength of 20-mesh sample is greater than that of paper reel than that of 80-mesh;The maximum fracture strength of 20-mesh sample is greater than that of paper reel than that of 80-mesh;The maximum impact strength of cantilever beam with 20-mesh sample is greater than that with 80-mesh sample;The maximum impact strength of 20-mesh specimens is greater than that of 80-mesh sample than that of paper roll.
