Abstract/Summary:
Since the emergence of AIS(Automatic Identification System)equipment,it has been rapidly applied on ships sailing at sea.AIS equipment can effectively and accurately realize the information exchange and identification between ship-ship and ship-shore,and play an indispensable role in ship collision avoidance,navigation,maritime rescue and traffic management.Various failures may occur during the use of AIS equipment,such as equipment host failure,antenna receiving and transmitting distance getting closer,black screen,inability to turn on,and loss of GPS signals,which bring safety hazards to ship navigation.To this end,conducting AIS failure investigations,analyzing the causes,evaluating the influencing factors that lead to failures,and putting forward specific recommendations,which play an important role in reducing the frequency of equipment failures and ensuring the safety of ship navigation.In this paper,the use of AIS in Zhoushan sea area is taken as the research object,and five navigation equipment companies,ten shipping companies and relevant competent departments in Zhoushan are investigated,basically grasped the installation situation of AIS equipment of Zhoushan merchant ships and fishing vessels,analyzed and sorted out 23 types of AIS equipment failures,analyzed the causes of the failures,and summarized the troubleshooting methods.In order to help the ship to troubleshoot conveniently and quickly,a fault diagnosis system is designed using JAVA software,and the ship pilot can quickly diagnose and deal with the AIS fault phenomenon.Based on the analysis of the cause of the failure,the AIS equipment safety risk assessment was carried out.Through the expert questionnaire survey method,the influencing factors of the AIS equipment failure were analyzed from the four aspects of "man-machine-environment-management",and the AIS equipment safety risk Three-level indicator system.The analytic hierarchy process is used to calculate the index weight of each index,and a one-time inspection is performed,and the influence of each influencing factor on AIS equipment is obtained through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.From the perspective of the first-level indicators,the weights from high to low are equipment factors,human factors,management factors and environmental factors;from the second-level indicator weights,the relatively high weights are AIS host,AIS antenna and GPS antenna,display Equipment,crew knowledge reserves,equipment use management,AIS equipment installation environment,etc.From the perspective of the three-level indicators,the relatively high weight is the quality of the main engine,the quality of the AIS antenna,the professional knowledge of the crew’s AIS,the installation location and operating procedures Execution etc.On the basis of fault investigation and analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,targeted countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
