With the rapid development of wind power simulation technology,design schemes for wind turbine simulation systems are constantly improving.There are two common wind turbine simulation systems:one is to implement simulation modeling of wind turbines based on software.This design scheme is simple to develop and low in cost,but cannot fully simulate the operating effects of real wind turbines;the other is to use a combination of software and hardware,that is,the wind turbine model and the human-computer interaction interface are realized by software,and the controller adopts the control equipment actually used by the wind farm.This design scheme greatly improves the authenticity of the simulation results.However,because the real control equipment is very expensive,and the simulation results are only for specific wind turbines,large-scale promotion cannot be achieved.In addition,the human-computer interaction interface function of the common wind turbine simulation system is too single,and can only display the results of the wind turbine simulation operation,which greatly reduces the training effect of the wind farm operation and maintenance personnel.In order to solve the above problems,a new simulation training system for wind turbines was designed.First,the integrated Beckhoff PLC control cabinet was used to replace the real control equipment—the engine room cabinet and the tower bottom cabinet,and the industrial control computer was used to replace the expensive PXI chassis,which greatly reduced costs.;Secondly,based on the UDP communication mode,the data interaction module and the status interaction module are designed to realize the data communication between the host computer and the model machine;again,on the basis of the above,a fault simulation function module is added to realize the model machine and the model machine driven by the host computer.The PLC control cabinet,in turn,triggers actions such as unit alarms and shutdowns;finally,a brand-new human-computer interaction interface is designed,and functions such as simulation result storage and reading are added,which makes the function of the simulation training system more complete.It not only improves the efficiency of wind power training and teaching,but also greatly increases the scope of promotion and use.The development of the wind power industry plays an important role in promoting the development of China’s wind power industry.
