Study On Material Selection Method And Application In Packaging Design

Material selection plays a vital role in the expected function,performance,manufacturing process,production cost,customer satisfaction and many other aspects of the product packaging system.This topic will research and develop the material selection evaluation system in packaging design.The material selection evaluation system will divide the packaging materials into the selection evaluation of inner packaging materials and transportation packaging materials according to the packaging product design plan given by the packaging designer.The research of the subject is helpful to establish the selection and evaluation system of packaging materials,so that packaging designers can obtain the quantitative evaluation results of various indicators of candidate materials in the design plan,and reduce the workload of selecting materials in the design process.The research and development of material selection support tools for product packaging design not only helps to obtain the best packaging solutions,but also allows better selection of better materials according to the needs of packaging products and the creativity of designers.The evaluation method of material selection is studied.Multi-criteria decision-making technology and data envelopment analysis are commonly used methods to solve multi-objective,multi-criteria,and multi-party compromise decision-making problems,and are widely used in the field of material selection and evaluation.Based on the analysis of the material selection evaluation method,the selection evaluation model of the inner packaging material and the transportation packaging material of the packaged product was constructed to construct the inner packaging material selection system of the analytic hierarchy process,based on the combination model of entropy weight-TOPSIS improved cross efficiency DEA,To solve the optimization problem of corrugated box paper distribution and corrugated type selection.The effectiveness and feasibility of the material selection evaluation model are empirically analyzed.Select milk packaging materials as an example analysis.From five common milk inner packaging materials:Baile bag,Tetra Pak,PET bottle,glass bottle,and cans for selection and evaluation,the best inner packaging material evaluated is Bailibao.The corresponding combination of excellent corrugated cardboard for transportation packaging is:the top paper material is ordinary box paperboard top grade 125g/m~2,the core paper material is top grade AAA120g/m~2,the inner paper material is kraft box cardboard first grade125g/m~2,corrugated Type C is stunned.Developed and designed an application system for the selection and evaluation of packaging materials.In order to facilitate the quick selection of materials for packaging designers and decision makers,an application system with packaging material selection algorithms as the core was developed and functional debugging was completed.Finally,a preliminary test was carried out on the studied algorithms.
