Gasoline Direct Injection(GDI)engine has a wide range of research value,such as high thermal efficiency,good spray quality,lean burn,low emission of HC,high inflation efficiency,good cold start performance and low fuel consumption.However,because the electronic control unit(ECU)of vehicle GDI engine can not be used alone,many enterprises lack independent and controllable ECU to verify the relevant parts designed and produced by them.In order to facilitate the experiment,according to the requirements of the enterprise,an ECU of GDI engine fuel system is developed based on GDI engine fuel system.Combined with the fuel system test bench of the research group,the functions of each part of the ECU are debugged,and the overall function is verified.From the hardware aspect,the ECU of the GDI fuel system was developed.According to the physical structure and circuit characteristics of each module of the fuel system,a series of MCU minimum system,injector solenoid valve drive circuit,high pressure fuel pump solenoid valve drive circuit,sensor signal acquisition and processing circuit,communication circuit,and power supply circuit are designed.Hardware circuit,and produce it into a printed circuit board(PCB).The control program of each module of the GDI fuel system is developed from the software aspect in combination with the hardware circuit.Designed the rail pressure control program based on the Proportional Integral Derivative(PID)algorithm,the ring gear signal processing program,the rail pressure signal software filtering program,the solenoid valve segmentation control program,etc.,and integrated these program algorithms to design A complete GDI fuel system ECU control program.At the same time,the host computer program is designed for debugging and experiment.On the test bench,the designed GDI fuel system ECU software and hardware and the host computer have been debugged and comprehensively verified the functions of each module.The experimental verification results show that each module of the developed GDI fuel system ECU can complete the functions designed by each,and the overall functions are complete and meet the requirements of use.The developed ECU can not only realize the verification of GDI engine fuel system components,but also optimize the rail pressure control strategy,conduct research on the pumping characteristics of high-pressure fuel pumps,and the fuel injection rules of fuel injectors.It provides conditions for system verification of related parts designed and produced.
