As an important part of innovation-driven development,technological innovation is the core driving force for the stable development of the national economy.However,due to the large amount of investment and uncertainty in technological innovation activities,it is a common practice for governments of all countries to promote the innovative development of enterprises by providing r&d support to enterprises.As an emerging industry,the new energy automobile industry,in order to promote the development of the industry,the state has introduced relevant policies and subsidy measures.With the increase of national subsidies to the new energy automobile industry,the subsidy effect has become a concern and a hot issue in the academic circle.There have been most studies on the impact of government R&D funding on enterprise R&D investment or R&D performance,but few studies have been carried out from the perspective of efficiency.In view of this,this paper takes the listed companies in the new energy automobile industry as sample data and USES the data envelopment analysis method to study the impact of government R&D subsidies on the technological innovation efficiency of enterprises.Based on the review of relevant literature,this paper firstly makes a theoretical and empirical study on the relationship between innovation performance and government subsidy on innovation efficiency in China’s new energy automobile industry.In the part of theoretical research,the definition of new energy vehicles and their innovation performance are defined,and the appropriate quantitative analysis method of innovation performance is selected through comparison.The empirical study first analyzes the development status of China’s new energy automobile industry,and selects the indicators to build an evaluation system for innovation efficiency of the new energy automobile industry.Then,based on the measured value of innovation efficiency,the regression analysis of influencing factors and the analysis of mediating effect and regulating effect are carried out,and finally,the improvement Suggestions are put forward.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)From 2014 to 2018,the innovation efficiency of various new energy companies in China fluctuated,and there was an imbalance between the nature of enterprises,ecological niche and growth.From the perspective of enterprise nature,the innovation efficiency value of state-owned enterprises is higher than that of non-state-owned enterprises.From the analysis of niche dimension and enterprise growth,the comprehensive efficiency value of high niche is the highest,while that of high growth enterprise is the highest.(2)The empirical analysis of the impact of government subsidies on innovation efficiency in the new energy automobile industry shows that government subsidies have a significant promoting effect.In the impact of government subsidies and innovation efficiency,financing constraints have a mediating effect,and ownership concentration and enterprise growth have a corresponding regulating effect.
