In recent years,with the rapid economic and social development of our country,the pace of urban construction is gradually accelerating,people’s requirements for street lighting systems have become higher and higher,and new demands have been placed on traditional street lighting equipment.The construction of cities is gradually transforming from traditional cities to smart cities.Street lighting monitoring systems play an important role as an important part of smart cities.An advanced urban street lamp monitoring system can help cities to improve the phenomenon of energy waste in the past,reduce the situation that manual inspections can not find faulty street lamps in time,and has great value for promoting energy saving and emission reduction of cities,low-carbon green lighting of roads and sustainable development.Based on LoRa technology and combining the current Internet of Things and urban lighting technology,this thesis researches and designs a street lamp monitoring system,which realizes the remote monitoring and control of street lamp.Firstly,the current situation of urban street lighting system is studied,and the actual demand of urban street lighting is understood.Through the comparison of various communication technologies,the advantages of LoRa technology application in this system are analyzed.Secondly,because of the complex environment and many interference problems in the city,according to the characteristics of LoRa technology,we adopt a suitable rate adaptive strategy and use the signal intensity value of the receiving node as a reference to analyze the current channel situation.The receiving node feeds back the analysis results to the sending node,and chooses the transmission rate suitable for the current channel,so as to improve throughput and reduce throughput.The purpose of extension.Based on the research,a street lamp monitoring system based on LoRa is designed in detail,including the hardware design of each module of street lamp controller and centralized controller,the brightness adjustment scheme is determined,the communication protocol is formulated,the software program is compiled according to the pre-realization function of the street lamp system,and the upper computer street lamp monitoring platform is designed to realize the overall monitoring and control of the street lamp system.Finally,under the test conditions,the intelligent street lamp monitoring system realizes the remote manual mode control and automatic mode control of the street lamp,adjusts the brightness of the street lamp,wireless collection and transmission of the current,voltage and other street lamp state parameters to the monitoring center,and the alarm record of the fault street lamp is expected to be basically completed,saving manpower and cost,and has a certain practicability.
