| In recent years, the economic levels of countries have rapidly increased, and people have begun to pay attention to the green development of the economy. The concentration of new energy industries is a more important part of achieving green economic development. On the one hand, the new energy industry agglomeration areas have a large number of enterprises and employment population, which facilitates the sharing of information and knowledge among enterprises, use clean energy to reduce environmental pollution, and improve the efficiency of green economy. On the other hand, the excessive increase in the corporate population has increased the demand for public facilities, which has led to an increase in labor and land costs. The new energy industry is in the early stages of development. It requires more capital and technology investment, which hinders the improvement of green economy efficiency to a certain extent.Based on the above background, this paper explores whether the agglomeration of new energy industries will have an impact on the efficiency of the green economy. This paper systematically sorts out the relevant literature on new energy industry agglomeration and green economic efficiency,on the basis of understanding its development status, studying the impact of new energy industry agglomeration on green economic efficiency.Based on panel data between 30 provinces(municipalities, and autonomous regions)in China from 2005 to 2016,the location entropy method was used to measure the concentration of new energy industries. The results show that China’s new energy industry has experienced significant agglomeration in coastal areas. In the economically underdeveloped areas of northwest and southwest China, the concentration of new energy industry is poor.On the whole, during the study period, the concentration level of China’s new energy industry has increased year by year, and the industry has developed rapidly.Use the SBM model with undesired output to calculate the green economic efficiency of each region. The results show that regions with low green economic efficiency have the characteristics of backward economic development or severe industrial pollution, such as the northwest and northeast, while green economic efficiency performs better in coastal areas with developed economies and rich resources.Based on the results, establish an appropriate spatial econometric model to study the impact of new energy industry agglomeration on the efficiency of the green economy. After the model identification and parameter estimation, this paper establishes a spatial Durbin model with fixed effects to study the impact of new energy industry agglomeration on the efficiency of the green economy. The research results show that areas with high green economy efficiency have a certain promotion effect on the development of green economy in their neighboring areas;the concentration of new energy industries can promote the improvement of green economy efficiency;but because the industry is in the early stage of development,It has weak radiation capacity to surrounding areas, and the new energy industry agglomeration has no significant impact on the efficiency of the green economy in neighboring regions.Based on the above conclusions, propose policy recommendations to promote China’s green economy efficiency level.Change the poverty alleviation policies for the Northwest and Southwest China to improve their economic level, implement pollution emission quota policies in heavy industrial bases such as the Northeast China;handle the relationship between new energy industry agglomeration and green economy efficiency dynamically to promote the green economic efficiency;make the most of the spillover effects of Beijing,Shanghai,Guangdong and other coastal areas, and strengthening exchanges and cooperation with surrounding areas to improve the efficiency of green economy. |
