As the number of cars in China rises,energy and environmental issues are becoming more and more urgent.It is necessary to increase the research on diesel engine control technology and explore energy-saving and emission-reducing methods.Diesel electronic control technology is a key technology to solve the problem of energy saving and emission reduction.Among them,diesel engine speed control is a research focus of diesel electronic control technology.The software function modules related to diesel engine speed control include idle speed control strategy,constant speed control strategy and variable speed control strategy.Their control principles are similar but the control methods are different,which makes the speed stability of various speed control strategies different,and it is difficult to smoothly transition during function switching,which easily causes engine speed fluctuations,reduces driving maneuverability and comfort,and increases fuel consumption and emissions.Therefore,the subject has designed a highpressure common rail diesel engine speed control system.Its basic function is to ensure that the speed controller can realize a variety of speed request control,achieve smooth switching of control functions,and achieve rapid response while ensuring stable engine speed.According to the problems of diesel engine speed control,the requirements of the high-pressure common rail diesel engine speed control system were analyzed,and then the control structure of the speed control system was designed.The high-pressure common rail diesel engine speed control system consists of two control modules,which are a speed request module for setting speed calculation and a speed regulator for engine speed adjustment.According to the basic functions of the speed request module,a high and low idle speed request control strategy and constant speed request control strategy are designed to ensure that the high-pressure common rail diesel engine speed control system has the basic low idle speed control function,high idle speed control function and constant speed control function.According to the basic functions of the speed regulator,a speed request management mechanism and a speed adjustment mechanism are designed to ensure that the high-pressure common rail diesel engine speed control system can realize a variety of speed control function smooth switching,and achieve rapid response while ensuring engine speed stability.After the design is completed,a high-speed common-rail diesel engine speed control system model is built.After the simulation test is completed,it is integrated into the EMS application layer software system,and the code is downloaded to the ECU for bench test.Tests have shown that the high-speed common rail diesel engine speed control system can realize a variety of speed request control,achieve smooth switching of control functions,and achieve rapid response while ensuring stable engine speed.
