In recent years,tourism is gradually becoming a pillar industry of China’s national economy,and the integrated development of “tourism & transportation” has also become an important part of the national strategy.However,there are many problems with the scenic highway currently:unclear road grades,incomplete transportation facilities,low connectivity,and prominent traffic congestion.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the impact of tourists on the traffic volume of scenic highway.It can provide help on alleviating traffic congestion,guiding tourism traffic volume and planning scenic highway.Therefore,on the basis of the domestic and foreign research overviews on the concept and connotation of scenic highway,travel choice behavior,OD and travel mode identification based on mobile phone signaling data,the paper integrates intention survey data and mobile phone signaling data to carry out a study on the travel behavior of tourist flow.And then the paper analyzes the impact of tourist flow on the traffic flow of scenic highway,and select Beijing Badaling Great Wall to carry out case studies.The main works of this article are as follows:Firstly,on the basis of summarizing the research status and discovering research gaps,the paper designs a web-based RP+SP questionnaire,which mainly includes three parts: travel mode and route selection survey,personal information survey,travel habits and attitude survey.The travel mode and route selection survey part is used to obtain the mode and route selection results of the respondents to the scenic spot under different departure times,travel types,travel starting points,travel costs,transfer times,etc.;Personal information survey is used to collect background information of respondents;Travel habits and attitude survey does not depend on scenes,respondents answer questions based on the experience,and is used to obtain respondents’ travel habits and related attitudes when traveling.After eliminating invalid questionnaires,a total of 603 valid questionnaires were collected.Secondly,the paper carries out the characteristic analysis of tourism travel choice behavior.Based on the RP data obtained from the questionnaire,we can understand the influence of travel type,personal attributes and tourism attitude variables on the choice of travel mode.It was found that family journal is the main type of travel for Badaling Great Wall tourists,and most of their travel methods are self-driving;family journal and friend journal are the main types of travel for tourists in Fragrant Hill Park,and travel methods are mostly public transportation and self-driving.The number of transfers is concentrated in 2 times or less.At the same time,the survey found that factors such as age,education,income,travel time,and travel budget have a significant impact on travel choice behavior.Thirdly,this paper carries out the modeling of travel choice behavior.Based on the SP data obtained from the questionnaire,NL models of the travel modes and route selection of Badaling Great Wall tourists and Fragrant Hill Park tourists was constructed,and compared with the MNL models.Modeling results show that tourists prefer to choose travel routes with lower costs,shorter travel distances,and less travel time.Personal attributes,travel attitude variables,and different travel types all affect travel choice behavior.The model also verifies that the NL models fits the travel mode and route choice behavior better than MNL models.Finally,this paper carries out the travel starting point,travel mode identification and tourist traffic allocation based on mobile phone signaling data.Firstly,the paper extracts the mobile phone signaling data of the Badaling scenic spot,uses data tracking to obtain the travel chain of tourists and designs the time-space threshold algorithm to identify the starting point of travel of tourists.Secondly,using the characteristics of travel distance,travel time,travel speed to identify the travel mode of tourists based on fuzzy identification theory.Finally,the paper combines travel mode selection modeling results,mobile phone signalling recognition results and actual road network to distribute the tourists flow of Badaling Great Wall,the then analyses the impact of the change of Badaling tourist flow on the traffic volume of the scenic highway and gives some corresponding operation suggestions.
