Study On The Operation Of Bar Space And Organization Of Layered Space

As the core of architecture,the study of space operation method contains the consideration of the essence of architecture.In the contemporary Chinese architectural context,this thesis explores the operation method of architectural space,which is the regression of the traditional architectural space view based on geometry,the safeguard of the core value and boundary of architecture,and the tracing back to the origin of architecture.Bar space is one of the most commonly used types of architectural space.The operation of bar space and organization of layered space is taken as the research object.Through case study and graphic analysis,the thesis first combs the basic classification and characteristics of bar space,and then analyzes layered space as an example to summarize the operation methods of layered space.This paper mainly discusses from three parts.The first part defines the concept of space operation and clarifies its relationship with geometry.Additionally,it defines the concept of strip space and layered space,combs its characteristics and application in history.The second part is the core chapter of the paper,focusing on the operation of bar space and its layered combination.In terms of bar space,this thesis transforms the invisible space into three material elements: mass,surface and plan.The mass is manipulated by increasing or decreasing,breaking or deforming,the surface is separated to strengthen or weaken the volume,and the inner space is space is created by the grid plan.In terms of layered space,the shape control method is studied from datum line,space unit and boundary.The reconstruction of spatial features based on directionality,homogeneity and transparency is emphasized,and the complex layered spatial organization is discussed in combination with environment,function and art.The third part summarizes the operation methods of bar space and organization of layered space,and discusses their practical significance and research prospects in order to guide the relevant architectural practice.
