Risk Management And Control Of Overseas Railway Project Schedule

Infrastructure connectivity is the premise and focus of implementing the Belt and Road,among which railway construction plays an important role in the Belt and Road strategic traffic.Although China has been involved in more and more overseas railway projects,it is still very difficult for the projects to be completed on schedule.This thesis mainly chooses case analysis method to analyze the schedule risk of overseas railway projects.Taking China-Laos railway project as an example,the risk factors affecting the progress in the process of project implementation are identified and analyzed in detail,and some risk prevention and control measures with operational and practical significance are proposed from the perspective of implementation.First of all,through literature research,for overseas railway project schedule risk control related research background,research content and the related theoretical analysis to summarize,the current research status and research methods in-depth analysis,determined by the analysis and research of the railway project to answer a brief why overseas railway project construction schedule frequent delay risks,and how to prepare schedule risk prevention and control.Then,by means of on-the-spot investigation,observation and personnel interview of China-Laos railway projects,the major risk factors affecting the progress of overseas railway projects are identified,including construction organization risk,natural environment risk,material and equipment supply risk,and social and cultural environment risk.According to the four main types of risk factors for the progress of targeted risk prevention and control measures analysis.Finally,the conclusion and enlightenment of the case study are analyzed.There are a lot of risk factors in overseas projects,so speeding up the project schedule and reasonably controlling the project duration are conducive to increasing the economic benefits brought by the project.Based on the analysis and research on the schedule risk of China-Laos railway,this thesis puts forward the risks and preventive measures that should be paid attention to in the management and control of the schedule of overseas railway projects,so as to provide reference for future overseas railway project builders.
