| As one of the three levels of China’s historical and cultural heritage protection system,The protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks have always been attached great importance,Their protection policies and renewal ideas are also emerging in an endless stream.However,the protection and renewal of marginal areas with certain historical value,not included in the protection system are ignored,Although there are no buildings of certain scale and historical buildings of the times,But the regional characteristic culture and traditional imprint they contained also need us to inherit and protect,for these areas,I call them traditional blocks.This is the starting point of the paper,It emphasizes the urgency of renewal and protection of traditional blocks.By combing the research status of block renewal at home or abroad,I introduce the concept of urban refurblishment based on urban renewal strategy to solve the current problems of traditional blocks and hope to explore a set of systematic,adaptable,functional and sustainable renewal methods and strategies for the development of modern cities。Firstly,the paper defines the concept of traditional block.I combed the research status of traditional blocks at home or abroad and analyzed the composition of traditional blocks.The main characteristics of "subject","object" and "medium" of the traditional block are described in detail.And also I combed the relevant concepts of City Repair and demonstrated the importance of urban refurblishment theory for the renewal and protection of traditional blocks.Secondly,on the basis of the analysis and analogy of the characteristics of the subject,object and medium of the traditional block,I summarized the development needs of traditional blocks under the guidance of urban refurblishment concept.From macro to micro,they are: meet those needs of urban development,adapt to the development needs of the block itself and human development needs。Finally,the paper taked the Ice house lane of Xi’an city as an empirical case.By analyzing relevant excellent cases,I put forward the principles of "respect memory,theme continuation","multiple functions,sustainable development" and "appropriate renewal according to local conditions" and the strategies of "repair","supplement" and "replacement" for the renewal of traditional blocks under the urban refurblishment theory.According to the characteristics of the block,the renewal design method of stimulating the subject potential,integrating the object environment and promoting the media linkage is explored,taking the Icehouse Lane in Xi’an city as an empirical case,I analyzed and summarizes the specific application of the theory of urban refurblishment in the case. |
