Research On The Protection Strategy Of Historic Towns In Northeast Chongqing

With the promotion of urbanization,the northeast of Chongqing has achieved high-speed economic development.The level of urbanization and the quality of residents’ life are both constantly improving.At the same time,it also brings great challenges to the historic towns in the northeast of Chongqing.Unlike those in the plains,historic towns in the northeast of Chongqing have diverse historical cultures and complex geographical environments,which leads to the traditional protection methods not suitable for the protection of historical towns.Historic Urban Landscape(HUL)takes into consideration the regional background,local traditional ideas,the integrity of landscape and the sustainable development of the towns.In order to finding a balance between the protection and development of towns,ensuring the harmonious coexistence of modern and historical times,and providing new protection concepts for historic towns in Northeast Chongqing.This article takes the historic towns in the northeast of Chongqing as the research object,uses field research,comparative analysis and other research methods to explore and analyze the dilemma faced during the development of historic towns.Then summarize its typical characteristics to comprehensively understand the value of historical towns in the northeast of Chongqing.It provides theoretical support for the strategic research of historic towns in Northeast Chongqing.First discuss the research background of the issue,summarizing the research trends and relevant achievements of ‘Historic Urban Landscape’ at home and abroad,and makes clear that the research of ‘Historic Urban Landscape’ in China,which is a relatively new concept,and puts forward the research methods and framework of this paper.Expounds the connotation,characteristics and contained elements of ‘Historic Urban Landscape’,and analyzes the differences between the ‘Historic Urban Landscape’and the previous protection methods.Then combs the characteristics of the historic towns in Northeast Chongqing and analyzes the practical difficulties faced by the historic towns in Northeast Chongqing The third chapter sorts out the characteristics of historic towns in the northeast of Chongqing and analyzes the practical difficulties historical towns faced.On this basis,combined with the "historical town landscape" to analyze the value of historical towns in Northeast Chongqing,and put forward corresponding protection content,respectively from the three layers of historical culture excavation,historical town protection,and sustainable development Put forward protection strategies for historical towns in Northeast Chongqing.Finally,taking Zhuyuan Town,Fengjie County,Chongqing as an example,a practical study was conducted.Based on the above researches,we should pay more attention to the historic towns in the northeast of Chongqing,and have a more in-depth and accurate understanding of their historical,cultural,landscape and other values.Through the practical application of ‘Historic Urban Landscape’ in the protection of Zhuyuan Town,achieving a goal that can provide the necessary experience in the future when comes to the issue about how to protect historical towns Northeast Chongqing.
