| The history of Chinese garden historiography in the 20 th century is a historical history study from the perspective of the history of Chinese garden academic research.This paper focuses on the research history of ancient Chinese gardens,and is divided into three stages of "pilot and start","foundation and exploration",and "continuation and development" according to its evolutionary context,corresponding to the 20-40 s and 50 s of the 20 th century.-70 s,80s-90 s,as the three core chapters of the thesis.Using the method of literature research to analyze the content of the research results of each period,each chapter first clarifies the historical context and academic background,and then classifies and analyzes the research causes,history,content,methods,etc.of the senior scholars and academic institutions in detail.Show the history and development of landscape history in the past century.According to the specific research situation in each period,the "pilot and start" and "foundation and exploration" phases are carried out in the order of collective to individual,which highlights the two research methods of field investigation and documentary evidence.Beginning in the 1920 s,under the influence of the spread of western learning,the Chinese Society of Construction in order to promote China’s construction skills,dabbled in ancient gardening research;Chen Zhi was the first to conduct a textual research to discover the gardening skills and inherited craftsmen in classic historical books.The concept of gardening;Tong Jun made a wide-ranging inspection of the Jiangnan region for the first time,and introduced surveying and mapping catalogues to the study of traditional Chinese gardens.Since the 1950 s,with the adjustment of colleges and universities across the country and the creation of the landscape architecture discipline,the architectural colleges and universities have set up surveying and mapping internship courses,which has produced detailed garden inspection results;scholars engaged in agricultural,forestry,cultural and historical research work in gardens History,art and historical materials are all discussed.Since the 1980 s,there has been a large increase in research achievements under the environment of academic freedom.The "continuation and development" stage is divided into the study of classic works of garden history and the study of art and cultural works according to the research content.At the same time,it briefly analyzes the publications of academic institutions.On the basis of comprehensively combing and analyzing the representative achievements of each period,it is found that following the changes of the social academic environment,each stage of research presents the characteristics of the integration of Eastern art and Western technology,and the intersection of architecture and agriculture and forestry.The evolution of ideas under the guidance of academic and practice,and the law of evolution of methods in collective and individual research.With a view to perfecting the systematic nature of Chinese garden history research and promoting the methodology of Chinese garden history research. |
