With the development of society,consumption of energy source which as a limited resource has increased gradually.Shortage of energy become an important factor restricting human development.Building information modeling(BIM),as a revolutionary technological idea that has achieved remarkable results in foreign countries,has brought great influence to the development of the construction industry.Based on the practice case of a large public project in Guiyang,the paper practice H-BIMS from the feasibility study phase.Main job is to establish a BIM application structure,deepen the optimization of building model,realize the energy consumption simulation,collision detection,material statistics,rendering roaming and operational information statistics,and other functions.The theoretical energy consumption was reduced by 15%,engineering materials were saved by about 7%,detect and repair 3197 collision,output aesthetics picture and video,the construction period was reduced by about 2 months,and the energy saving efficiency was estimated to be 10-20% in the operation and maintenance stage.Engineering solution based on BIM is helpful to solve some key problems in traditional HVAC field.However,there are also many obstacles to the promotion of BIM in the domestic construction industry such as insufficent in supporting policies,software and talents.And the benefits of ordinary application cases are low.Taking BIM concept as the core,this paper proposes four application principles that based on HVAC field,one module multi-purpose,all-time application and establishment of standardization framework.Bring forward BIM based application scheme in HVAC field(H-BIMS).In order to solve the problems of BIM application and the optimization and deepening of HVAC design,it further aid the foundation of control of building energy consumption and provides ideas for the innovation of building industry.
