| In recent years,due to the increasingly serious environmental and energy problems,the development of new energy has become an important trend in the development of the current automobile industry,and the change of power system is bound to bring great changes to the function and shape of automobile products.Under the background of the increasingly fierce brand competition in the current automobile market,automobile designers are facing the following problems: new energy vehicles and transmission What’s the difference between unified fuel vehicles? How to design the shape of new energy vehicles? How does the new energy vehicle continue its brand identity?In this paper,from the perspective of automobile modeling design,combined with the author’s many years of experience in automobile modeling design,the above issues are studied.Based on the literature review,the research status of brand DNA theory and new energy vehicle design method is sorted out,and the theoretical framework is established to provide theoretical support for the follow-up research.By collecting data,the development status and technical characteristics of new energy vehicles are sorted out.It is pointed out that the new energy vehicle technology greatly improves the freedom of design.Then it introduces the theory of brand DNA,analyzes the structure and category of brand DNA,and then focuses on the in-depth study of automobile brand modeling DNA in brand DNA,and obtains the specific mechanism between it and automobile modeling,which provides theoretical guidance for the follow-up design methods.Then,through the case analysis of the existing new energy mass production vehicles and concept vehicles,the development trend of the new energy vehicles is summarized.It is pointed out that the new energy vehicles have the trend of "intelligence" and "sharing" in function,the trend of "one box","production" and extensive application of parametric design in modeling,and the design direction of the new energy vehicles is pointed out.So far,on the basis of the previous research,the new energy vehicle modeling design idea based on brand DNA is clarified,and it is pointed out that the influence of brand DNA on vehicle modeling is all-round.On the one hand,brand DNA comprehensively determines the design project(vehicle type,positioning,product quality,etc.)of automobile products to define the shape of the whole vehicle,on the other hand,the brand modeling DNA is used to guide the vehicle Shape design of body.Finally,the design ideas proposed in this paper are applied to the design practice of polestar,Volkswagen,Infiniti,MG,trumpchi and Mercedes-Benz,which verifies the feasibility of the design method in this paper.The brand identity of each design practice project is investigated by questionnaire,which verifies that the design method in this paper can continue the brand identity of new energy vehicles Brand identity is effective. |
