With the planning and construction of China’s highway network and the acceleration of the urbanization process,as well as the maturity of the construction process,prefabricated bridges are increasingly used in China,but the seismic performance of prefabricated bridges is relative to the seismic performance of cast-in-place bridges.Weak,and the destruction mechanism is not clear,so that the prefabricated segment assembled bridge is only built in the low intensity area,but not in the high intensity area.Aiming at the shortcomings of prefabricated bridge piers in sections,this paper numerically simulates them based on the finite element software ANSYS,studies the damage situation,and analyzes the damage of the whole and each part,and proposes a new bridge piers structure-dissipated energy Reinforced rubber joint segments are assembled into bridge piers.The bridge pier has improved hysteretic energy consumption,ultimate bearing capacity,stiffness and ductility compared with the segmented pier,and the residual displacement is slightly increased,which is beneficial to the promotion in high-intensity areas.To a certain extent.Therefore,the study of prefabricated bridge piers in sections is of great theoretical and engineering application value.The main conclusions of the study are:(1)Use ANSYS to establish the finite element model of the segment assembled bridge pier,and prove the feasibility and correctness of the simulation method through the numerical simulation and the comparison of the damage situation of the test,hysteresis curve and skeleton curve.The analysis shows that the failure mode of the assembled bridge pier is bending failure,and the failure location is concentrated in the bottom segment of the pier.(2)Analyze some parameters of the assembled bridge piers,and study the influence of parameters such as the number of segments,prestress and friction coefficient between segments on the piers.The analysis results show that increasing the prestress degree can improve the seismic performance of the segment piers.The number of segments has little effect on the performance,and the friction coefficient between segments has no effect on the performance.(3)In view of the damage and shortcomings of the pier in the numerical simulation results,three improved measures were adopted for analysis,including: changing the concrete grade,adding energy-consuming steel bars,and adding energy-consuming steel bars and glue joints.Through comparative analysis,it is determined that the best improvement plan is to add energy-consuming steel bars and rubber joints.This method greatly improves the bearing capacity and energy consumption capacity,and reduces the damage of the pier bottom.It is a good seismic isolation bridge pier.
